Lasted one flight ! 20c, 3000mah Zippy and 80a Esc. Lead wires fused together !!! Luckly I did not crash !!!

This seemed a pretty great EDF setup.... for the 10 minutes it lasted for me on 4S ! 58A and 750W (peak 800W). After the first test run the motor was approx 60degC. On the second test run the fan exploded. 4S, 15v x 3300 = 49,500 rpm on an 8 blade fan. That is a lot for an 8 blade so I don't think 4S is overly safe for it. I will use a 6 blade fan in it now (taken from another HK EDF only unit) and see how that runs. The original sounded good, was well balanced - no vibration at all - and had that great output. Too bad it didn't last, lol. On 3S it was only 400W, so it is well down on the 4S power and in that case only so-so output.

Got 2 of them; the first died after 10-15 flights; fan explodes, shooting holes into my starmax f-18, bending also the motor-shaft. The second burned when flying the **2nd** time! So i think the quality is unacceptably.
The spec and performance is good - if you need much thrust and middle speed.
Will be very good for lightweight solutions but not with this poor quality.
Got 55A and 1050g on 4s 2200.
Not ballanced, so you will get vibrations going through throttle-range, but both
running smooth on full throttle.
Now i built one from the parts of the two and will see how long this may work ...

The fan and housing is great.balanced good and no vibration at all on 4S.
The motor is a different case, it has no "c" clip to stop it vibrating rearwards and locking the whole fan up. after sorting that out with a spacer from the fan boss to the front bearing I got 3 flights from it then a puff of smoke and a broken winding. Would recommend getting another motor to replace the one fitted to save you pulling the fan in and out.

Piece of crap! Motor can be pulled out half cm to rear fan pulled off the shaft tiny screw with no washer to add mount support pay more for better quality this power set will not tolerate 4s

QUALITY IS REALLY BAD. BAD SCRUB MARKS ON THE FRAME ALREADY EVEN BEFORE I RAN IT. I WONDER IF THEY'RE QUALITY CONTROL PERSONEL EVEN CHECK IT? BLIND? THE BLADES WERE REALLY SCRUBBING ON THE FRAME BADLY. IT MAKES ME THINK THIS IS A RETURNED ITEM AND SENT IT TO OTHER CUSTOMERS HOPING WE WON'T PUT A NEGATIVE FEED BACK.

wow. I put one of these in my new f-22. On the hercules 3800 motor in the standard housing. Running on a 4s 2150 30c rhino. 50 amp esc and oh my gosh, went vertical for so long i almost lost sight of it. Would recomend for anyone who likes being scared. Real screaming combo and worth the price just to get the fan. Thanks HK, my hands are still shakin'
