    Designed from the start to be a great flying wing platform for FPV flying. The ExplorerBee's unique camera bay, large central compartment, lightweight EPO foam combines to make this flying wing an FPV pilots dream.

     

    The frontal section of the fuselage is crafted to fit your choice of action camera to give you an unobstructed field of view to fully immerse the FPV pilot. The outer wings have compartments to fit your radio receiver in one and video transmitter in the other to help separate the electronic noise.

     

    The ExplorerBee has a smooth flight envelope, the wing has carbon spars and an RSB22 airfoil that enable a stable slow speed flight perfect for FPV, But when you want to push the limits it performs as well as a combat flying wing.

     

    Endurance is another feature of FPV flying and with the ExplorerBee's large battery compartment you can use anywhere between 2600 to 3600mAh 3S LiPoly giving the pilot many minutes of flying adventure. Partnered with a brushless outrunner and electronic speed controller and your choice of many different FPV electronics and you're ready to Explore and own the sky.

    Ich würde diesen Flieger nicht wieder kaufen. Es ist nur mit viel Blei möglich, den angegebenen Schwerpunkt zu erreichen. So ist der Flieger mit 1,02 Meter Spannweite bei mir ca. 900 Gramm schwer. Dementsprechend sind auch die Gleiteigenschaften. Mit Motor fliegt er sich gut, ist dynamisch, nicht nervös, einfach angenehm. Das Material ist sehr stabil. Da der Schwerpunkt bei meinem Flieger zuerst zu weit hinten war, hatte ich nach einem Strömungsabriss einen Absturz aus etwa 20 Meter Höhe ins Gras zu verbuchen. Dieser Absturz ging jedoch ohne Schaden aus.
    Ich habe folgende Komponenten verbaut:
    Motor: AXI 2217/12
    Akku: 3S/2200
    Kamera: Xiaomi Yi und FPV Cam
    Propeller: 9x5 Klappproppeller
    Spezielles: separates 5V BEC (für Actioncam) und OSD mit GPS

    Received my today, parts look decent quality and fit but no instructions or manual of any kind, in the box or on the site.

    Würde ihn nicht mehr kaufen

    Der Flieger ist zu schwer und der Schwerpunkt muss mit viel Blei in der Nase nachgebessert werden. Mit einem längs eingebauten 3S2200er Akku und sämtlichen Komponenten im vorderen Bereich der Nase muss noch immer 70 Gramm Blei verwendet werden um den Schwerpunkt von 15cm (ab der Nase gemessen) erreichen zu können. Beim Erstflug (bin übrigens ein erfahrener Modellbauer, mit 30 Jahren Erfahrung), hatte der Flieger einen plötzlichen Strömungsabriss. Er kam in etwa 30 Meter Höhe ins Trudeln. Dies konnte nicht mehr abgefangen werden und so kam es zum Crash. Dabei zeigte sich, dass der Schaum sehr stabil ist, der Flieger blieb, ausser einer leichten Stauchung, unbeschädigt. Würde diesen Flieger nicht mehr kaufen.
