Quality plane with beautiful appearance and easy build. Fly as expected, fast and agile for beginners, but a lovely and compact all rounder for intermediate pilots. Can take easily 2200mAh 3s lipo ;)

Seems to be strong ! maiden flight i went too far and surely lowered throttle too much. It tip stall to the ground from 20m high. only a little plywood inside the fuse to CA glue, LG to bolt again and propeller to change ! Seems very nose heavy. Receiver behind the servos, Bec under the wing fixation and the 3S1000 as far aft as possible on her tray an the CG is 50-55mm and not 60mm as stated. And i have added a tail wheel ! Second error from me is that the surface throws were too much. Elevon and aileron needs less. I have not tried the rudder... All in all not a first nor a second plane ! Good for adrenalin

Great little airplane. I had the maiden flight today and this thing flies beautifully, better than expected! Equipment is a SK3-2830-1130KV motor with 9x6 APC-E clone prop, 20A BlueSeries ESC, 4x TG9e 9g servos, Zippy 3s 1300 20C battery and a FASST-compatible FrSky receiver. I did not mount the (heavy!) landing gear at all, just landing on grass, very easy. Total flying weight without landing gear is a light 550g. To get CG at 60mm I mounted receiver behind rudder/elevator servos and it is perfect (again, without landing gear). Despite a bit of wind the plane was still good to control, the yellow/blue scheme is very visible, and the plane is very responsive with unlimited vertical and great maneuverability. I love it and can recommend this plane. Just build it light with a battery no bigger than say 1500 mAh and you will enjoy it!

Lovely Aircraft, nicely built and flies really great!
I flew it wit a Turnigy 2213 20turn 1050kv Engine and 1500 mAh 3S lipo and I just need 1/3 throttel. You have to be careful with the rudders since it is very agile. And you can't glide with it, then it stalls.
It is easy and Quick to build, nice looking and very nice finish. It is a bargain!
I replaced the tiny Wheels with bigger ones to get off from grass. The rubber band used to attach the wings really works great.
Get one fast!

I would recommend it, I started on the bixler 1.1 then upgraded to the bixler 2 and now I'm throwing this thing around the sky and loving it.
I put a ntm 28-26 1350KV / 302W in it witch is over powering it a little, HK 9g servos in it but had to cut out the ailons a little and a 30A esc.
Staring out witha 1500mah 3S battery but going to try a 2200mAh 4S, just to see how it gos.

Great kit. Highly recommended. Good value. Only issue with building was that the control rods did not have threads at the control surface ends. It's my first experience building a balsa kit and it looks beatiful. Maiden flight was excellent with no need to trim anything! I used an old Turnigy Aerodrive, 40A ESC and have a 1600mAh 3s setup. CG per the instructions is spot on. I added a steerable tailwheel becasue the kit only came with a curved piece of wire to act as a skid. Overall a great performer too and floats in nicely for landings. Another tip - don't assume ailerons hinges are glued in ... I almost lost the plane on the thirds flight as the ailerons almost fell off.

jai recu mon extra300 et quand jai ouvert la boite et jai examiner les pieces jai fais... wowww .vraiment surprenant la qualit ses d'une qualit qui ma vraiment surpris ,trs plaisant a construire et vraiment le fuselage est impeccable .alors prsentement il est prt a voler mais la temprature ne le permet pas.mais jai trs hte de l'essay.je lui donne un 5 toiles .
