Beautiful straightforward airframe. I used two Dons Wicked 4400kv motors and a 4S 3300 pack. Flew great until I came out of a high speed dive and it went in, not sure why yet but I came right home and ordered another. This is one fun project and the 2nd is always better than the 1st!

Got the grey version. Quite a challenge to build but it flies realistically. I also bought the black bunny but I will power it with 3200kv 4s EDF units.

opened up the motor compartments to fit 64mm fans with 8 blades each retracts all the bells and whistles. this plane is so heavy it wouldn't get off the ground i finally coaxed it to get up for about 4 seconds and when i set it back down it bent all three struts and broke all three wheels. this plane is a piece of crap. The foam sucks im not sure what type of foam it is but its not epo which it needs to be im about to drop a 4s 2650mah in and see what happens. if it still sucks im get it up as high as i can and nose dive the damn thing into the ground & never buy from you guys again.

Super jet. Attention au centre de gravit lors de la fermeture des ailes. Il faut avanc un peu la batterie. Prevoir une ouverture en plus en avant des turbines afin d'augment l'admission d'air. Gain de puissance. Support train atterrissage un peu fragile atterrir avec douceur ou train rentr

I Love this plane.... Its my first.... and yeh its as described(a modellers dream) Its quite labourious and you will need to have a dremel for a few clean up spots and theres quite a bit of electrical work to do!!! But its awesome and I think its just one of those projects that ya dont rush and get it right... After all its a Tomcat!!! Ive fitted nav lights, ailerons and retracts to mine too... I used the 2836 edf combo on mine(fans can be dremel fitted, or just use the motor/esc combo) and the 12kg servo is TowerproMG946R which works a treat(with some dremmel to the foam)... Make sure you get some servo extensions and also some battery wire as its quite long.... I just bought the servo wire by the metre and the futaba plugs to make my own extensions.... this is a great jet peeps... factory landing gear is weak as!!! get something aftermarket!!!

Plane flys nice and easy with the wings open. Super easy landings and floats forever. Wings back, she will roll really fast!

Easy build, just follow the directions!

Open cheaters on the top to get the power she needs and you will be very happy!

One last thing, there is no ventilation for the battery compartment. My batteries have gotten hot and I saw recently a fire in one Tomcat. Ive added ventilation holes and it has seemed to help.
