My new FCO3 just arrived! It works verywell! I use 2,4 ghz radio from Futaba and its no problem.

Now im just waiting for V-eyes to come! :)

Look forward to that!

This is very nicely packaged. The display is bright and easy to see. I only gave this 4 stars because the power supply has a UK only plug and there is no memory card. That and the control cord for it is another $30.

Simples, leve, versatil e bonita. Camera para quem quer registrar de forma simples e prtica seus voos, tando em helimodelos ou aeromodelos. Bateria com boa durabilidade. Poorly though out design, crap workmanship and overall not even close to worth the money. Get the cheap turning cam and use that. This was a complete waste of my money. 2 starts because the box was nice

I have had a chance to give the FCOIII a couple of goes in both aircraft and rc cars and overall it does a good job with a reasonable quality of video. The quality is better than I expected and is pretty much what you would get from an analogue home video camera (More than enough for low res 'youtube' type video clips). Overall I am happy with the camera and would recommend it, but there are a couple of issues that I have with it that could be improved.



Firstly, this is the FCOIII which you would assume is better that the FCOII (as it is the next version). When you have a look at the specs, however, you actually find that the photo quality of v3 is only half as good as the older v2. Mostly that photo quality will be good enough if you are using it for posting shots on the net, but if you are looking for a camera to use for developing aerial photos then you should consider something else.



Secondly, the video resolution claims to better in v3 but it is exactly the same as v2 (VGA quality). 30FPS would also have been better than the 28PFS the FCOIII delivers. Video quality during daylight is very good for this size of camera but running it under artificial light is a different story. The frequency of fluoro lights and halogens tends to put faint lines through the video. It is still watchable but I would think about this carefully if your primary intended use is indoors.

2.4 GHz transmission does not work with Futaba 2.4 GHz radio! Massive Interferences result.



But with Spektum Transmitters there is no problem!
