Great unit, here are the current consumption:

It has a simple series resistor to limit the current. Good for 1S batteries, at 6V the led will be too warm to use.

The light is very dim. Not suitable for evening flying etc. Needs to be in really dark room and the fiber optics must be curved in order to get the light out. Same as white version.

this LED's are insanely bright! if you google them you will find them by "piranha LEDs". the fibre optic holding system is a balsa wood cube glued on top of the LED so it will only hold the tube once. you should glue the fiber-optic to the LED or it will fall of! I did not measure the consumption yet. it is different for every color. it you use to colors on the same fibre you will get other tonalities. its great! (but the LED strip is brighter... )

It is not too bright but it is interesting to install on helis around the chassis and canopy. you can also point the focus to the blade. it causes a good effect at night.
