These are sadly just a bare touch above the stock antenna that come with your Fatshark goggles. They gave me about 10 more meters on the ground (running a Traxxas GD 1/10) and about maybe 50-75 more meters in the air. The overall quality of the image increased a little but I ended up getting some ImmersionRC redtop mushroom antenna. These are now on my Wi-Fi range extender with adaptors (works awesome for that BTW!). Hobbyking was great on shipping but the product wasn't that good. Overall it's cheap so live and learn.

This product fits nicely to one of my 5.8ghz av receiver! it is durable and built with good quality material.. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to use a 12 dbi antenna for their 5.8ghz av equipment.

You must eject the mistake that is write an specs :
" Conector : SMA /FME " because the reallity is SMA -MALE .
In the receiver is used the same SMA-MALE !!!
I tray to buy same SMA-adaptor but I don't find !
The people must pay attention !!!
I have query about the gain (12dB) This is not real ! I think so !

The antenna will not connect directly to the transmitter, you will need a RPSMA Male to SMA Female Adapter adapter. I found this one from Spark Fun to be the least expensive: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9232. Once installed, I noticed and immediate improvement in the range of the system with my FPV gear.
