Il sensore sviluppato da ultimo FrSky è stato progettato per raccogliere importanti informazioni sui voli e dati sulle prestazioni che può essere trasmessa tramite la porta intelligente di ricevitori di telemetria-enabled, come X8R, X6R, X4R, ecc per un trasmettitore Taranis.
Questo particolare sensore viene utilizzato per monitorare le tensioni dei pacchi LiPo. L'ultimo sensore incorpora un display a colori di facile lettura (anche al buio!) OLED (organici diodi emettitori di luce) che mostra sia tensione totale e le tensioni delle singole celle. Basta collegare il connettore equilibrio LiPo per visualizzare le letture di tensione.
Il sensore può essere utilizzato anche come un pratico, in formato tascabile, stand-alone LiPo checker.

This doesn't work for 1S as advertised, at least not when they're at or below storage voltage. I also have the old version that does work on 1S, even at 3.6V.
So I guess the Smart Port chip requires a minimal voltage that is somewhere above a low charged 1S cell (minus some regulator drop off).
This new version curiously also has a start up delay of about 1 second.Connecting it was really easy.
However getting all the cells to read in my TX was a bit of a hassle since there was a new version of open TX out since everyone did their guides on youtube.This voltage sensor you must have it monitors your batter individual cells and alert you when batter is low.These are superb & although the impressive, bright, clear display screen might be a non-essential for a telemetry module, it's reassuring to see that the telemetry read-out received / displayed at the transmitter is always identical to the telemetry module display & its a bonus to be able to see the cell voltages when looking into the model... At $15 I can't see how these modules might be sold for very much less without it.
.... My latest project has two of these in tandem (one reconfigured from port #2 to port #6), connected to X8R receiver Smart port - monitoring 10S LiFe pack comprising two 5S packs in series. They're mounted so that the voltage displays can be seen through the cockpit window.
Works great after doing a hell of a research grinding through online forums just to figure out the basics about how this thing works. I HATE YOU FRSKY for being such lazy ignorant pack, not being able to put together even a minimal documentation for your products!!! The frustration was unbearable, but there is a reward: The joy of discovery apart from having a wonderful system.
The readings are accurate, the display is gorgeous, the paper wrapping is disgusting.Very nice little unit. My first Smartport device and really like it. I love this product!I bought one for my X8R, outside EU warehouse and it was worth it. I now have an amazing sensor for my LiPo 6S, great display (no problems here) and most of all i get peace of mind. No more worrying about time, trying to hear the alarm buzzer. With a flick of a switch on my FrSky radio and ... Bam! Minimum Cell voltage, Total Voltage and so on. Great product no doubt.
