    Stand alone this is only 8 channels

    the description and the video state this 8 channel w s-bus is only limited to the channels of your transmitter implying it is able to (for example) use all 14 channels of my 14 channel Futaba transmitter without the need of any other gear except this RX. In reality this RX will only expand to more channels if you buy a decoder and programmer. Just obtaining information of exactly what else is needed is like pulling HK's teeth.
    If you use the s-bus one connection is all you need for 8 channels only

    Great RX! Works flawless together with my good old Futaba T14MZ. Especially having the SBUS and the PWM-Outputs active at the same time is a lovely feature! Teleme...what??? Why would I need that?
