Mini speed boat, Ok for the money if you only have a small area to run

Hi I bought both the red and the green thinking they would be fun for my kids - unfortunately with the postage I got hit for duty and handling charges, then I discovered they are both on exactly the same frequency and channel, buy one and you wont get additional charges!
Second issue is one boat runs for about 8mins on a full charge the other only runs for 1min, I am awaiting a resolution to this, the battery is faulty one battery runs equally well in both boats the other equally poorly in both. I have also discovered the 1s battery from my nine eagles solo pro helicopter fits, this makes these boats really go. The only other downside so far is the turning is not proportional it is full left or full right and without the lipo they really slow down for the corners. reverse is pretty poor but then I expected that for this style of boat. Overall I would recommend, not a lot of money and entertaining in a pool or small pond. (assuming they resolve the battery issue soon!). One other thing - pretty sure the specs show different dims for the red and green but they are identical - its a little galling to see the red and green running together on the box art when they cant unless you want to run both with the same TX.
