Very handy for strengthening Balsa or glass. Can use thick CA bead along the sides which holds very well or tack in place with CA then laminate with thin light glass cloth and laminating resin or even epoxy when adding to foam.

I love these rods! only about 0.086grams per centimeter, strong, easy to use, hard to break (yes... I tried :D and my planes will to!) I would buy more if I didn't get 2 packs already!

I purchased this glass fiber rod along with a Skyfun Jet and other small parts. Hobby King added a 379g extra long box to my order to ship the glass rod. When I received my order the rod and all the other parts I ordered where placed in the Skyfun Jet box. There was no 379g box to ship the rods in and Hk also threw a 71g catalog in the box. That 450g could have been filled with more products sold but HK choose to rip me off on shipping instead. Rip Off King!
