Looks cool. Total flop

I bought this because it looked cool. After waiting a week to assemble it, once it went together, the problems started. First: missing hardware. Second: poor fitting wings.Spars were either too short or a mold problem in the wings. Third: tailwheel mount wont align. I submitted a claim. In hobby Kong’s defense, they said to return the item. However, this thing is built and the box was thrown away. I was told to return on my own dime and that they would credit “my account” for any money I paid in shipping. I’ll be honest... for a 150.00 plane, it’s not worth it. I’m not returning and I have never flown it. Someday I will make modifications to the bottom of the fuselage to accept a tail wheel. Do yourself a favor. Watch some YouTube videos on this plane and the issues that have been well documented. Steer clear from this plane. It’s garbage. Will I ever buy a Hobbyking brand plane again? Nope.

A mixed bag

Lovely looking model which I have converted to control line. However many parts are ill fitting ( wings, tailfeathers ,struts and plastic u/c parts) and the instructions (even the downloaded manual) are worse than useless - a few tiny photos which show no detail; The packets of hardware supplied do not seem to relate to this mode there being insufficient of some screws and wire but having at least 6 springs and loads of miscellaneous screws and wire which do not relate to this model. It is as if someone has just thrown in misc packs of hardware . There were also some minor crease marks on the foam skin surface. These factors made what should have been a very simple and quick build into a protracted struggle. Having said all this the end result is a very nice looking model. Not yet flown.

Really great airplane

This is a really nice looking and flying airplane for the price. Assembly was pretty straight forward except for the main landing gear. The pictures in the instructions left a bit to the imagination. The only complaint is the description says it comes with a two axis FPV gimble mount. What actually comes with it is a plain little plywood box that you need your own two axis gimble to mount to it. Other than that, I love how this plane looks and flys.

Terrible build

The build instructions are terrible the screws are too long to attach the aileron control surfaces. Landing gear is not good. I broke the landing gear when attaching the wings, etc...
Once I finally got the plane together it looks nice but not expecting it to survive one flight with that landing gear design.
