Nice Indoor Plane

All in all a nice package. Great indoor, but also works outdoors. Needs a lot of weight at the front - use a 1000mAh battery or some ballast.

Great Plane (3S950Mah battery, 8040 prop)

I was surprised how good the plane is. I fly it with stock motor and ESC and with white HK 8040 prop and turnigy nano 950mah 3s battery. This is enough for 3d flying, it can go straight vertical. Flight time in this setup is around 8:00 minutes which is great. It can even battle relatively strong wind.
I fly it outdoors, if you want indoors setup, smaller battery and prop would be probably better.
I would not complain about lack of instructions, you can Google them, they are sufficient to finish the plane.
Built with 5 minute epoxy I was on 230 grams without battery.

Where's the instructions

Kit looked great coming out of the box. There were no instructions in the box or on line. So I downloaded the instructions for the original Piaget, by the second step I was glad I had assembled a few foamies before, as the assembly is completely different for the original and the version 2. All in all the fit was good on all the parts, but all of the edges were concave from the cutting process, making edge gluing an excercise in trimming and custom fitting. I understand I build a little slower than some but the 40 minute assembly time was stretched out to over 7 hours. Given much of that time was spent dreaming up my own instructions for assembly. The plane does look good together, can't comment on flight charactoristics, as wheather has been lousy.Finished plane weighed in at 10.5 Oz with a Turnigy 3S 1000. CG was right on the money with this set up. If you don't mind a little extra work this is a great value for the money as long as it flies as well as most other foamies I've had.
