Great flying Cub

This is a great value for the money. It flies fantastic & will do all basic aerobatics well. The only weak point is the landing gear, axle holes misaligned in wheels so you do not get a smooth roll. Replacing with Dubro wheels + wheel collars. Axle needs to be heavier gauge. Good comments from club flyers.

I literally flew the wings off mine on 4s after quite a few really fun flights. Best to stick to more scale flying with this one. Ripped the wing saddle completely out of the top wing.

Everything ypu need from a foam Piper Cub

It's cheap, decent sized, well manufactured, no major issues, flies both on 3S and 4S (I change the prop to a 11x7 when on 4S), extremely well mannered in the air. Minor issues/remarks: Glue the small wing struts in the wing slots, don't just push them in. If in warm climates maybe a couble of extra ventilation holes (outlets) would be a good idea.

Be fair, It's a nice looking plane, . I wanted one for a long time, And the FPV option and the stronger landing gear, got me over the line to get one. (damn you Stuart ;o)

This plane makes my collection complete.. Iconic almost scale model of the legendary cub. Easy to assemble and fly. Fell in love with it the first time I set my eyes on it. Totally worth the money.

Good Value Flys Well But Needs Some Improvements

The positive - A beautiful scale looking plane. The cockpit glass windows, the paint quality, the motor is very scale looking. Handles well in the air. Flys stable on 3S battery.
Small gripe - tires are hard and bounce. Recommend changing to softer tires for smooth landings.
Negatives - Where the main wing is joined to the fuselage with two screws there is a weakness and while doing an inside loop, the wing separated from the fuselage with the foam breaking away from the screws. Lack of spare parts in the U.S. as of this writing.
Until the main wing is improved, I would not recommend loops or rolls. As a scale, easy relaxing flyer, it is perfect.

Not complicated this Piper J3 snd great value. I strapped a csmera on board to capture the maiden flight and following flight. Handled quite well & predictable

This was a purchase due to discount so I went for it, and it's a great model glad I bought it on the maiden no trims were needed and it flew very well. It's a easy build and it looks great, love the metal landing gear this model would be a good second model for a new pilot it's very stable in the air, overall a good model
