Quality during the build was very good so far. However the instructions were sketchy at best. Full sized plans are on the list of materials but do not exist! On line instructions are poor. It seems no one has put this model togther. not for beginers !

This kit was a Christmas present for my son. He is super happy with it . I would not recommend this for a beginner but for the advanced person it is an incredible RC experience. Instructions do leave out some parts

I haven't built this plane yet - but just looking at the wood inside the box makes me happy. Probably won't actually get to the build until next October (building season starts then - repair season has just started) and thinking i'll fiberglass the fuselage with 3/4 oz cloth

Easy Build

This was an easy to build project. Instuctions and illustrations could have been a little clearer and more extensive, but a modeler with minimal experience could figure things out. Wood was a little warped, despite being in a sealed plastic bag, but that was not a major problem. Fit of pieces was excellent!

Ok kit but documentation not included

Kit looks fine but it is not shipped with a full sized build layout drawing. Has an exploded view but not useful for building the plane. Can't use it to build on. Also the instruction manual is not included. Hobbyking needs to get better at making their descriptions accurate. This always happens. The drawings and instructions are on line here but hard to print a full sized drawing so what good is it. Hobbyking still has a long way to go to get to the level of other reliable R/C suppliers.

This plane is awesome I built it in about 3 weeks (to fast) and ended up with a pretty bad twist but it still flew wonderfully the kit it self was good I would have liked a book of directions but the on line stuff work ok. I would definitely recommend this kit
