    Ever wondered how modelers manage to get grass to look so realistic? Static grass applicator of course!


    Perfectly apply static grass flocking materials every time to your scenic railway, architectural model or diorama. Our portable handheld flocking machine uses static electricity to attract the flocking particles towards the applicator giving the appearance of grass or overgrown vegetation depending on the length of fiber used.


    The applicator is incredibly easy to use with no previous modeling skill required. Apply a water based glue (PVA is fine) to the area you seek to cover and gently tap the applicator over the area. Once dry, remove the excess by gently using a vacuum.


    The flocking machine is built to last and is supplied with a small bag of green flocking material but you will require 2 x 1.5V batteries which are not supplied.

    It works, but YMMV

    I bought this to make my own grass tufts for miniatures. It does work, but the commercially available tufts come out considerably better than what I make with this.
    I'm going to give it a good review though, because the applicator does apply, and stand the grass up. It just isn't well suited for getting a large density of grass into a circular tuft.

    It has taken a little practice to use this applicator but it works well and the small bags that come with it helped. The grill allows a lot of grass to fall through if you are going for a very short flock and it gets a bit bogged down, maybe adding an add-in finer grill would help.

    Very disappointed
    I have tried various Pva glue and different techniques and different length flock all with no success whatsoever in making the grass stand up

    Slow delivery poor customer service. Large import taxes probably could have got better elsewhere for a medioca product when it arrived.
