Avoid buying this item. The "oil tank" unscrews and all the oil drains. And even if it's aluminum the rod breaks very easy. I do not recommend you all buying this item.

Holds up quite well, except for the constant leaking of oil all the way from factory to the trash can. I've bought several and tried to service them but they leak, leak, leak.

I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews. These shocks are terrible! They are nice and plush when they first go on, but they didn't survive more than 15 mins on the front end of the Turnigy Trooper before they got bent out of shape. Very disappointed. The stock shocks on the Turnigy Trooper were heaps better - put up with so much abuse before one finally died and I unfortunately replaced it with one of these...

These shocks are very shiny and seem to be of very high quality. They fit very well on your car, both front and back. If you like both shocks to dispense their oil on your floor, this is a five crown product. If you prefer them to keep their oil on the inside, this is a one crown product. The number of crowns decides wether a review is published, so I will rate with an average for you to decide for yourself.

Replaced the cheap and leaking stock shocks with these, and after 1 battery half of them are leaking as well, very disappointed.

high quality?? no way, one half decent jump and one clean snapped a shock shaft (on the front of the truck) just at the start of the thread for the lower mounting point. not impressed since it took a month to come from hongkong. Re-installed plastic ones with maximum pre-load, and they are working good enough, even though they leaked every bit of oil they had in them. Even cleaned those out and replaced oil, but they still leak.
