Questo flybarless ben lavorata DFC (controllo volo diretto) testa del rotore utilizza cuscinetti radiali di alta qualità, cuscinetti assiali ed è anodizzato in una bella finitura nero / argento. È dotato di un albero di piumaggio duty 6 millimetri pesante ed è compatibile con l'HK-500 / Trex 500 elicotteri.
Questo è il gruppo della testa completa compreso principale testa del rotore w / prese lama, piatto oscillante e albero principale che lo rende un bolt-on di aggiornamento per convertire il vostro formato 500 elicottero di DFC flybarless!

i have had some spare parts lying around from my crash helicopter and i could create one functional rotor head out of this crap...
the blade grips were wrong machined in a curious way. on one side of a single grip (not two different ones!) it has 10mm notch and on the other side 9mm.
rex500 blades have 10mm blade root and so the grips were useless and went into trash...
all ball joints, except the dfc ones, were dramatically out of tolerances and i had to use my own ones.
the screws are just normal ones without shaft, so be careful when tightening the dfc arms. i replaced the screw to align ones and it fits much better. with the hk screws it tended to seize, may be they were bended or whatever.
some ball bearings directly went into trash, they felt like sand inside.
both thrust bearings were ungreased.
the feathering shaft screws had too much loctite and were very hard tightened. one of them was really hard to open, i nearly broke my tools.
hobbyking refunded the article price into bonus points BUT costs for customs and transport are gone...
Ottima qualita'. compatta e completamente assemblata. vivamente consigliata. Ho trasformato il mio vecchio trex 500 con testa in plastica e flaybar, in un gioiellino moderno, non c' piu' nessuna vibrazione.Very strong dfc head for my hk 500gtTried to fit it to an HK 500 MT. It does fit, the head is well made, BUT the geometry is all wrong due to the shortened shaft. The supplied servo linkages are too long and even if shortened the swash needs to be positioned at the lower end of the shaft in order to get the blades at 0 degrees pitch.
Looks as though it was originally designed to swap with the standard flybar head straight onto the standard shaft. Then some backroom wizzkid must have decided that a shorter shaft was a good idea but forgot to adjust the length of the links from swash to blade grips to work with the new shaft.
I upgraded my HK-500 with this head. My build is for FPV so I'm using NAZA-H to make visual to goggle transitions easier. I am not a 3d flyer but am an avid FPV nut with 100's of hours flying FPV fixed and rotor wing. Once the NAZA-H was dialed in the platform is extremely smooth yet very responsive. I got hit by Y-copter today and it took out my tail rotor and ... you know the rest. So here I am looking to buy another one of these but the damn things are out of stock again. Well worth the wait though.Awesome machining on the head, beautifully made.
Everything works and fits ok. Did the rebuild as per the norm, regreased and locktighted the nuts and bolts that need it.
Two problems that kill the rating a bit.
1 The supplied shaft is too short for my HK 500GT. Used the shaft from the old head assembly and it works well.
2 The control links to the servos are too short. Had to make up a set specially for this assembly.
Besides those two points, excellent value for money. Well done again Hobbyking!zwar nicht mehr lieferbar aber hmmhave set this up with ZYX gyro on HK500CMT, had to change ends on the three servo to swash links to the shorter 600 type. the Swash bearing has too much play but it still flys well. will have to replace at some stage.Spindle not long enough Blade holders lock up.Received mine, have been eagerly awaiting this for some time and I can tell you that you won't be disappointed. This DFC head is solid and built well.
Value for money there isn't a better flybarless head out there for the 500. Well done guys.
Oh and as always, strip it down grease and threadlock, you shouldn't really have to be told this by now.
