Its a $30 helicopter. Bargain! Mine is running woodies bought over ebay which places lower loads than the heavier, plastic blades in the kit. I have had belt slip issues so recommend a genuine align belt.

Some are upset at receiving only 3 balls I received NO servo balls in my kit!!!! All parts replacements have been sold out. Going to be a long build.



On the flip side the little hex wrench in this kit fits the grub screws in the gt250 kit way better than that kit's tool which doesn't fit them at all. Disappointed with QC of this kit!

This is a great little heli. I replaced the plastic tail boom holder with the aluminum one off the HK250GT because the tail boom would slip out. Also I would recommend genuine align timing belts. After replacing those 2 things, it flies perfect.

I was looking for low $$ heli for practicing. mine came up with the swashplate came off in 2 secondes after the motor start working.the ballbaring came off from the swash .replace it from new swash from T-rex 250, replacsed the tail a belt from t-rex250 .

now the tail drive gear spin freely.the heli do not stop from turning to one side a then to the ather side when you try to fix it.

soory HK love your prodacts but not this one.

Missing Ball is general problem. Bought 2 HK250, missing part in both packages. Three balls are coming with swashplate. Problem is: servo ball for tail linkage rod is missing.

Great kit. Was lacking one servo ball for the tail servo, so be sure to order an extra one when you buy the kit! Canopy is a little heavy, but can be replaced with a CF-one if you want to spend a few extra bucks on it. A great kit for a great price!

i am putting together the kit now as i did a review of the in the box .i found that they give you 3 servo balls instead of 4 , you will need to purchace them seperate if they offer them or another kit like i orderd 2 for spare parts. hobbyking needs to go through the kits to verify everything is in there except for that and the plastic motor mount being fragile and order the upgrade metal one it seems to be a good kit 4 stars but if all parts 5

If you take your time building this heli and locktite everything you will get a great little heli. My setup is



4 hxt900 servos

turnigy gyro like the telebee

turnigy plush 18amp esc

ff200 motor(spare from the firefox)

Flies very nicely.

Couple minor difficulties on assemply. Main shaft was too tight to one way bearing, have to take spare which was better. Tail gear mesh too tight! Feathering shaft locking bolt loose, thread inside spoiled! Fortunately I had ordered spares at once with kit!!!
