Next issue with kit: the tail box assembly. The Y yoke/crank for blade pitch should literally FALL under it's own weight when system is held sideways. I don't know how some of you flew this snot wagon but geez, what cheesy doodles this thing is! Do whatever you gotta do to loosen up completely that action on that rear tail control or you're in the ground pretty quick!!! do a search on "hk 450 3d" or "hk450 crash" at Utube... I'm tellin' ya people... BE CAREFUL! Some of those flights aren't longer than 10-15 seconds! Do not think you'll aspire to a Szabo, if you notice he doesn't respond to any of his posters in 3 years and that's nonsense! Take responsibility and DON'T post it then! You really gotta READ and not watch videos entirely if you want to get anywhere. If you don't know how to calculate headspeed on paper and what your units' structural limits are, then this is NOT for you. If you're too lazy too ask, you're too lazy.

holy crap a bunch of freaking cry babies seem to be buying these. i bought 2 kits (1 for parts) and all the gear for one from here about 2 months ago. i spent my time putting it all together and setting it up properly. this was also my first larger heli build. everything went together reasonably fine and all the parts look pretty decent. i ordered multiple blade sets and a metal tail unit right away just kinda thinking ahead. my hk450 made its maiden flight today and it went beautifully. i for sure will order more and will recommend them as well. thanks hk!

THESE ARE THE BLADES THAT NEED TO BE IN THE BOX, NOT SOME "BELL HUEY SCALE LOOKING" PLASTIC NONSENSE WHICH CANNOT LIFT THE MACHINE! TOP IT OFF, SELLER HAS STOCK ON THEM BESIDES, AM INCLINED TO BELIEVE THIS IS ALL ABOUT GOUGING FOR MORE MONEY AND NO YOU WILL NOT DO THAT WITH ME. THE PLASTICS ARE .70 THE WOODIES ARE UNDER $3. IF THE PLASTICS HAD FULL CONTINOUS CORD, THEN YES THEY WOULD BE FINE BIT INNER ~50MM HAS NO CORD AND THEY NEED TO BE SANDED BESIDES??? Diatribe #28: Look, you buy one and then a second because everyone recommends it for spare parts. WHOM is doing the recommending, real buyers or employees? $31 shipping. The shipping from the USA warehouse is $28 so they make money on shipping. China is now charging MORE than the U.S. for shipping! Blade grips don't work, $3 shipping. Blades don't work, $3 shipping. It's like buying the butts without the matches so they can sell you the lighter... how greedy does everyone on this planet need to get before the missiles start flying? $37 shipping with a total item price of $30? China can go screw itself, I've fawking had it with this nonsense. By the time everything's collected to complete model, I might be DEAD!

GT003 blades not compatible with unit, Proper blades not included. Grips not strong enough for GT003 blades, would need to buy those too! I'm killing that order next, You are a THIEF and you are hurting yourself at the end of the day. If info was disclosed in item listing, I would know to buy parts but now the shipping becomes more than the item itself! So you make your money on overpriced shipping, WHOM IS IT that posted "I bought six"? An employee? You have also destroyed free speech on RC groups com and we really can't have that over here, you need to rape your own people and stop stealing from America. I will pickup blades locally. is there anything else missing? Sure there is. How else do they make money? Ciao

Well I've had a dozen hovering flights so far, one crash and I'm impressed. This is a great heli to learn on, as its a cheap alternative to the real Trex's aint no big deal if you crash it and trash it, you can afford another. But crash anything more expensive and it can be soul destroying (and wallet destroying). If you're a learner... then just head the warnings on checking locktite and bolts etc. Safety first.
