Print incredible structures and 3D projects with HobbyKing's own range of PLA filament. If you're new to using PLA, you'll find it easier to print thanks to having a lower melting point.

One of the most important features is that PLA is non-toxic with an extremely high printing resolution. . PLA has a low shrinkage rate and is very rigid with minimal flex. While PLA is considered stronger than ABS it is more susceptible to cracking when subjected to flexing, therefore you will need to consider if the filament is right for the mechanical needs of the print project.

A great material for 3D printing, PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead and can stick to glass or a PCB plate using a binder such as hairspray or white glue. These simple binding agents will help achieve a curl free print.

3D printing is a fun and exciting hobby with a wide range of uses from prototyping parts to making toys for the kids. Picking the right filament for your application is very important. Very hard to get bed adhesion

I bought about 12 rolls of different colours from the Hobbyking brand filament and I am not happy with it at all. Compared to 3 other brands of filaments that I used this one is hardly sticking to the bed of my Anycubic i3 which has great bed adhesion. I am also obliged to lower the speeed by alot and add like 9 rings of brim to hope and print the first layers right. Otherwise if there are sharp corners the filament don't get to the right form and just gets pushed away on the next brim layer. Maybe it needs very specific settings, but never had such problems with other filaments before.

Fool proof PLA roll with a pleasant colour. Layer lines show especially well with these colours, but at least you see all the problems in your printer :)

After using PLA from Prusa for about a year I decided to give this stuff a crack and its spot on, using the generic PLA settings in the prusa control slicer its powered though a number of prints, some issues with one particular print lifting however a quick wipe of acetone and it was absolutey fine,
good value for money, no jams,
