Works as stated. Fans provide great air circulation in my work shed - a real leaf-blower. Seems to be working hard to provide output simultaneously to 2 Life 2100 x 2s TX batteries. Quite warm to touch after 10 min.
Sent as replacement for my 2nd Turnigy 500watt Dual Output PS to fail on me within 9 months.
I do miss the lack of full 28V output for use with my Turing Mega Chargers but it runs my two iMax 1010B+ chargers ok.
There is only one review where this PS failed so far so fingers crossed. The Turnigy 500s were a real problem with lots of documented failures in the reviews. Fingers crossed XXX.
Great service from Hobby King product specialists in getting faulty units replaced though.

Seem to work well. Haven't try using it at full capacity. Fan is quiet during normal operations (not at fastest rpm). Not sure how loud will it be when it is running at full speed.

Excellent so far, although have only done a few test charges at home.

Fan(s) seem to have about 3 speeds, fast is pretty loud and shifts a decent amount of air, medium fan speed sounds a bit rattly but usually this power supply sits happily almost silent.

I'm charging 2s for cars at 30A, supply set to 14.5V and the charger draws 18A, so I'd expect to manage to charge 3s at 30A or 6s at 15A, perhaps a little more if you turn the voltage up to 18V.



For what I'm doing, 2s at 30A, there is plenty of power left to power tyre warmers and soldering iron.

Noisy, came with a dent in the side so packaging isn't as good as it could be. However, it does the job it needs to do with little fuss. -1 star for the noise.

Got this power supply a few weeks ago, only the light in the on/off switch is not working but for the rest I'm very happy. Have a Swallow ( for my NIMH battries) and my new Turnigy MAX80W (for my Lipo's 2S battries) connected to it and it is performing well.

Very god power supply! My one came with the power light (on the switch) not working, but it doesn't bother me. It also says from 12 to 28 volts. I'm not sure if it is misspelling from our non-english speakers or it really goes to 28 volts. I will not try over 18 volts anyway... But it is recommended!

Bought one of these in May 2013. Fans were noisey with squeaky bearings. Turned it on a few days ago and PffffShhTTT. It blew up.

Received mine today, It's a quality piece of kit it is set to 18v factory default so had to turn it down as my charger only excepts 13.4 to 15v (I didn't want to blow it up). As far as i could see this unit is working just fine, it arrived with a power lead that is not listed on the site although it came with a continental plug. After testing the unit out I simply changed the plug for a Normal UK 3 pin plug. with this amount of power for the money I dont think you can go wrong, Thanks Hobbyking
