I bought a few of these and one had such poor solder connections hidden under the blue heat shrink that it caused a crash when one of the power wires became disconnected. $900 model trashed. Another had output issued caused buy other simple electronic hardware used in the system like an LED light controller. Other BEC's would work with the same electronics but not this brand. I will never use this BEC in any model and all models that I had them installed in have been replaced.boltage in range is goodI used this on my 12s EDF setup (2x6s), hooked them up to one of the pack, all 9 servos plus 3 E-retract working without any issued. Great UBEC for the money and value.Using this unit in a couple HV setups and another 6s plane with no issues. Great BEC especially considering the cost!Couldn't make it work in EDF with 12 servos. It has some strange startup that caused servos (HK/corona 929) to go crazy and keep 1.2V at receiver. With 8 servos it booted up without problems, then I could connect the rest 4 servos and everything is fine. Switched to Turnigy 5A BEC - everything works without glitches. Strange device...Stable at 7.5A UBEC
I have it connected 8 standard servo. Power and flow is still insufficient.
I recommend the purchase.Sehr, sehr schlechtes BEC. Ich habe es in eine mFusion 50 (600er Gre) getestet, 4*Standard Servos, FBL-System, RX, Telemetrie. Betrieben ab einem 10s Lipo schwankte die Spannung um ca. 5,3 Volt, Bei Bewegung von drei Servos auf einmal brach die Spanung so weit ein, dass das FBL-System abstellte. Daher nicht zu gebrauchen!!! Bei weniger als 5s luft es gar nicht.Nice unit. Tested to 7.5 amps continuous, and shuts down at 8 amps. The output leads are too thin for 7 amps. They get hot and drop about half a volt. Make sure it has some air flow for 7 amps continuous, as it does start to get warm. Note that there is no over voltage fault protection in this unit, so a fault could put the input voltage on the output, but most internal BEC's don't have this anyway. Looking at the circuit, I can't see any reason why it would not work on 3S. Great value.Stable output. Great for heli.Great value. There aren't many 12s bec's out there.
