- Why has HK not made the effort to make a short part-list, a manual and dimensions overview?
- Some parts fitted so tight that I had to sand some of the openings to avoid breaking the carbon fiber
- One spacer had wrong size (was however immediately replaced by HK: good service!!!)
- Finally assebled it seems to be a good product

Nice gimbal overall, but it's very tall and therefore does not fit to niche on my HK480 quad frame with standard landing gears.

Overall good product - well fitted parts.
Behave nicely with Storm32. Soon making mod to 3 axis.
Some issues anyway:
1. Holes for motors are a little bit to small.
2. 3x 20mm on one side eachone with wrong holes (bigger). Fortunately I've replacement for them.
3. No manual - you are receiving bag of 3d puzzles. Fortunately guides are easy to find on internet.

Looks good. had to find an instructable to assemble it.

some pieces were very difficult to put together as they were a tight fit.

Didn't realise I needed a Gimbal controler aswell (I'm a novice so my mistake)

I bought this thing a year or two ago and just got around to putting it together. It is needlessly complicated. Mine has a missing standoff for the rear motor mount which makes the mount less rigid that it should have been. Because of balance issues with my RunCam2, and the fact that it is outrageously tall, I ended up scrapping all the carbon fiber parts. I designed a new one - much more compact - and 3D printed it.
I did use the motors, but quite frankly 2206 motors would have been better.

This gimbal will have your camera dragging in the grass unless you have some kind of enormously tall crab legs on it. Forget about using it on a Predator 650 even though it has a hook/rod system.

received product surprisingly fast, and as usual with HK stuff no instructions and also as usual "aint no thing" because there are plenty of pictures to assist with assembly. I very much like the quality of this Gimbal, feels very sturdy. Will post about it's operation after I begin flight test

No manual no problem.

Great gimbal for that price. The carbon pices are cut perfectly and they fit very well. The screws are black instead of silver and the motorcables aren't colored.
