I have tried a couple of times (and with many months in between) getting this thing working on a small quad, a big quad and a tri. I cant get it working properly. Even the KK2 works heaps better with its default values compare to this, at least with my knowledge in this field. I really like the idea of having a simple FC only with pots and no disp. There are also some good flying things with this on youtube but I couldnt get it working properly.
I have only tried this one and the KK2 though.

I builded my first quad using this board. It's an H-quad like (but I fly it like I) I used full hobbyking equipment on wood base inspire from flitetest. I had decent result at the second flight after making the frame more rigid. I give 4 star since there is not auto leveling function and to setup the borad on the drone perfectly flat with double side tape is not easy. The flight caracteristics are ok. easier than an heli but I would have expect something a little bit more stable.

This board allowed my Turnigy H.A.L. to do awesome flips with 28-XX motors! I would recommend it. No one is going to beat that price too! Very good cheap board. Anyone can "program it"! It's just awesome, but I use my DJI naza m lite now instead

This board is great. feels solid and locked in during flight, I am using a 370mm mtm H quad I designed myself. Gyros at about 55pcnt- solid.

I purchased this while the kk2 was out of stock, and I don't think I'll be buying a kk2 for the time being, this thing does exactly what its supposed to.

well just got this in and am very pleased with it so far , I placed on my quad and wired it (had to check the pics for the wiring,took ony 5 mins to set it up .
well the quad got off the ground just fine ,I have to teek it out yet ,but I think I can do that no problem (im a nee bee) never did it yet.
I think its a great replacement right now till HK comes up with a new kk2.0,(I have one)
I give this a good rateing very simple I think . you can do your setting right with out your PC . I will buy more.

Hobbyking i86L Multi-Rotor Control Board, ist gut fr Einsteiger. Die Einstellungen sind denkbar einfach (alles ber den 4bit switch). Ich habe es fr meinen ersten Tricopter benutzt und selbst nach ein zwei crashs lebt es immernoch und tut seinen Dienst.

Hobbyking i86L Multi-Rotor Control Board (Lite Edition) lst sich gut einstellen, ein paar ltstellen waren nicht schn aber ansonsten es erfllt es seinen zweck in meinem quatrocopter.

It's a great product for using with multirotors. I use it with my H-Quad, and it works great! The only problem I found was the small Yaw-, Pitch-, and Roll-switch-things. The Roll-one worked great, but the Yaw and Pitch was really stuck, and ended up with breaking the Pitch-one. It still works, but it's really hard to spin it around when a bit of plastic in it is broken. I hope that my explanation made sense for you, it is pretty hard to explain. But because of that I will only give 3 stars for this product.
