Poorly thought out design

Not at all what I expected. Push button only. No signal wire so you can't run it off your receiver, so you can only use it to start your motor. I've hooked up a servo to push the button turning base so my inverted 2 stroke doesn't die on approach, only to find that the button is quirky. If you hold it down for two long on the push it doesn't activate. It's quirky like double clicking a mouse in the 90's. The system isn't reliable or versatile enough to be of any value for me.

You can only use it for starting yor engine. Glows for only 15 seconds and dies.

I have several of these & find them to be very convenient to use. I power mine with a 2000Mah LIFE battery.

Great Glow Driver

I have used several of these units on Laser singles and OS Gemini 160. They have been easy to install and set up and in operation do make a difference in low end reliability. I have hand started engines from cold without issue. I use a 3000MAh 2s Lipo but rarely find after a days flying more than a few hundred MAh goes back in so very economical on power. The glow comes in gradually depending on the engine heat so doesn't use loads of battery power.
