This Product Is Great for its price and does what its meant to do.
I paired it with a hk 1600kv outrunner and it works on 4s without any problems.
Programming via rx/tx is easy.

I've got a few of these in various models and have not had a failure. I've used them at 85A in a Funjet Ultra with no overheating problems.

Two things to note first and foremost: Firstly, and most importantly this ESC is NOT plug and play. You need to program it via your transmitter as there is no programming card available that I know of, but it's really not difficult.

Secondly, for some reason these get really hot when programming if you use anything over 3S to do the programming with. You can still set the cell count to what you're going to be using though, as it does not auto detect the cell type or count. I always program them using a 2S lipo and have had no overheating problems as have been reported by others in the past.

As a cheap, no frills ESC it's excellent value for money. As with most budget ESCs though, i suspect it's abilities are overrated and so wouldn't use this on anything that's going to be drawing more then 80A continuous. Still, since it's OPTO, you will still have control of your model should you be unlucky enough to suffer a failure.

Bought 2 of those. One works. The other burnt out and smoked off when connecting 2nd time although I did everything right. Only good thing it didnt shorten the battery.
Very frustrating, lost money and efforts. Not recommended at all.

Well thought out. I was able to find a small clear plastic box (packaging material) that fit perfectly over circuit and up to heatsink...long story short waterproofs nicely, mods well.

Have had two, both now in garbage. Running 6s 60 amps static. Both ran for about a season, both failed in air with no warning. One crash (failed on low downwind leg). One even ran again after cool down but tossed it anyway having caused crash. Confirmed not radio, battery, motor etc. First failure maybe a fluke, second failure, confirmed you get what you pay for. < $25 for 100 amp controller? Too good to be true in my two cases. Don't go cheap on ESC.
