I don't know what this stuff is but it's not bungee rubber. It hardly stretches at all and if forced I believe would simply snap.
Maybe there's a clue in the contradictory description 'silicone rubber'.
Had to get refund on this and order proper latex rubber elsewhere.

The bungee rubber is very stiff and hard. Elongates a 100% and delivers 2.5kg of force per meter of elongation. Good for catapult for launching UAV.

Wrong Material for a bungee rubber, not useful for R/C glider starts

Its cheap, but you get what you pay for. I bought 3 of those mid of 2018.
This rubber cannot be extended to more than 2x its length, then it will break!
I tried multiple starts with a 1.5kg glider because I thought there is a sharp object in the field... Useless...
Then it noticed you can even tear the rubber into pieces with 2 hands - just apply force to lengthen it beyond 2x its normal length!
Waste of money - totally wrong description!
