A nice bird for the bucks, glides perfectly. And, on pusher configuration, it allows a perfect FPV setup with the camera set in the nose with front motor removed. There is roam enough under the canopy to fit VTX and some small dedicated battery. And keeps perfectly balanced with that setup. Keeps in the air for ever. Ideal for sweet FPV gliding as close to ground flights, the bird being quite responsive. Some would say "for the bucks, better buy a phoenix" but knowing both planes, this one allows you more precise controls and is more close to real glider. I really enjoyed hours of FPV gliding with this one!

I gotta say this is a pretty good glider and it flys very well. Came packaged as described. One recommendation For thermal soaring id use a 1000 3s to keep the balance right. Flew it on a 1300 and she seemed a little nose heavy. Just one disappointment with the ailerons as they did not have a pre hinged line on the top of the wings. You have to bend them in order move both left and right ailerons. Everything else was fine.

Be careful with the CG it is mega nose heavy I needed 30g of ballast in the tail to get the CG correct.

This is a beautiful plane. Very very well made. Wonderful quality. Took my time putting it together and installing the optional flaps. I was surprised and pleased, to see the stock ESC had a XT 60 battery connector. As all the photos I saw showed a red "T" connector.

The instruction booklet is very well written, and complete. Good photo's too. While it does show a very good parts list, it doesn't tell you if those parts are available from HK, or a different source.

I was lucky enough to buy this plane on sale. But after having seen it, I would recommend it as a great value, at the regular price.

I purchased this glider on sales last month and I am fully satisfied with it. It is nicely build with very good finishing. The only thing is that the motor is 1000 kv and not 1300 kv. I flied it with front engine only and except the cone is vibrating quite a lot at 60pcnt throttle, it is powerful enough to bring the bird at required altitude for nice gliding. Also, it is soaring quite nicely with 30km/h winds and it will keep in the air for ever. A good transition bird for higher performance gliders. Thanks HK for this well achieved product!

Box arrived this morning, no damage and very well packed. This is my first foam model, I usually build from plans but building space is now very limited, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the molding all the parts fitted together very well but be careful with the wing spar it is a very tight fit into the wing tube, I recommend filing a leading edge to get it located easier. There is a lot of wiring to be kept tidy especially with the optional flaps so careful thought is needed. There is quite a large gap behind the spinner but I guess the motor will like the extra airflow. All in all an excellent choice for my first foam model, well done HobbyKing.

Post office is reliable but with GLS, it is always the hell.

Es un avin bonito, pero tal y como viene de fabrica, si usas la helice del morro, pesa mucho y tiende a caer. He puesto 45 gramos en la cola y aun as he tenido que trimarlo, bateria turnigy de 1300 . No recomiendo usar baterias 1300 y 20C, no tiene fuerza el motor. Con 35 y 45C ya funciona como debe. Las baterias turnigy de 1500 y 20C apenas si caben dentro de la cabina. Tienen que usarse baterias cortas. Parece que tiende a perder sustentacion muy facilmente. Hay que emplear el motor mas de lo debido.

Box arrived damaged both wings folded I managed to fix Then the Main front motor wasn't working out of the box, and grinding sound whenever I gave it throttle. Replaced motor with bixler 2 motor (nearly same rating) and the ESC browned out causing a crash

ESC needs WAY more ventilation! esp with battery sitting right on top!
Also in a decent thermal wind 20mph there is not enough aileron authority.
