I think the Cyclone is the same as the Micro Dolphin elsewhere on HK site, but it really is a fun little plane, This twinpack came with the electrics fitted to the Cessna which I transferred in to the Cyclone, I reduced the thrust angle on the prop and now it flies so well, I made a camera platform in place of the canopy and mounted a key chain camera with Velcro.
Go on treat yourself, such fun, no nasty habits easy to fly even in wind.

Hi,
I have been working to assemble the Cessna. Although it seems a fair deal, I'm very disappointed with the boxing which was not enough to protect the planes during the transport.
The Cessna has twisted ruder and even more twisted wing. Facing the customs and return back hassle, I'm trying to recover as much possible, without knowing if will have a good flight in the end.
This reminds me why I have stopped buying from HK several years ago...

I have not yet assembled them. But for start, the Cessna package was badly smashed. The ruder is bend and I'm trying to get it back to the original shape.
Not a strong enough packaging but above all, very bad handling during transport.

Great value for money. Had to replace the ESC with a 10A; did not work with my FrSky V8R7-II 2.4Ghz 7CH Receiver. Did a quick motor alignment Assembly is quick. Great plane.

Looks like a great deal. But when i got them, i can tell the quality isn't that good. The cessna i got has the motor mount installed skewing to the right. The front wheel is slightly bent. The elevator servo got wiring problems, it only works if i tape the wires flush against the servo. At my first flight, the plane lost control, the airelon locked at full left bank, the rudder locked full left * the elevator full down. The plane spiral to the ground & breaks the wing, prop & ripped off my receiver antenna. After close examination, the esc burnt & burn out the outrunner motor along with it. Even with a new ESC the motor jutters back & forth suggesting its wiring is a mess now. While its a good deal for the price of one plane, you get 2 airframes. But be warned the components are crap.

very nice kit, but I'm newbie and my first flight I change the electronics to put on the small glider, easier and moin danger of breaking the propeller is made very very solid, after several crash and restick, a tape somewhere, it still flies very well, but I want to know if someone could guide me to find servo motor for esc to assemble the small cessna, I find it lacks a little information and there is plenty of choice, not easy to find a good kit when we are beginners, I would like to fly both, thank you

This plane fly batter than my mini j3 cub! It have enought power, with d/r 50pcnt on all control, it is easy to fly. I am a beginner with some hours with flight sims. And few unsuccessful flight with the under power Mini J3 cub. After about 10 flight, I am still learning how to properly land a plane, mostly bad landing or into the bush. So far I have just broke the 5030 prob. Flying it now with gws 5043 without any problem. Fly mostly half throttle, the motor & esc always cool, 2s 500mah 20c zippy lipo a little worm after about 10 minites of flight. It still have 58pcnt on cell meter. I think this is a goob buy. Need to find more powerful powertrain for the mini j3.......

The little Cessna is an amazing plane. I bench crashed mine before even maiden it. WHAT A NOVICE MISTAKE!!! Despite braking the prop and the cowl, and bending the motor shaft, I fitted the following spec: Turnigy 22xx outrunner @ 1250kv, basic HK 18A ESC, 7x6 prop and 7.4V, 800mAh, 25C high discharge battery. As I couldn't use the landing gear any more a piece of CF tabe made it the best belly lander ever. The review: Just brilliant; it will fly in any condition, it will land anywhere (mine has been on a tree, in the river, on a roof top) and after 4 months of daily 30-40 minute flights it still flies better than ever. BUY this, no one will regret it

The best plane I have purchased from HK so far. The build quality is phenomenal. The Cessna is stone hard and in my case it has landed in a river, hit a tree full speed, hit a wall head on, and after a few 000's of rough bad landings is still happy to be in the air. Forgiving and gentle stall. Perfect wind attitude for such a small aeroplane. Easy to handle in 7mph winds with a basic Tx. Smasshing good buy, and the price, go for it any time.
