These have to be my all time favourite after the Skyfun
This is my 2nd Radjet which is now on 4S 1000mah nano using a funfighter 1950kv motor pushing a 6x4 prop. Added extra air scoops to try and get some air through the electronics and fibre tape to wings and fuselage for extra strength
I have since learned that the best way to launch these guys is with a bungee, although an underarm toss at about 3/4 throttle gets them moving
What an absolute blast to fly, especially when there are 2 of you chasing each other. Extremely stable with a little wiggle at certain speeds. Will come in to land fairly fast but with a comfortable glide slope. Would suggest a decent colour scheme to help with orientation because at certain angles can be hard to distinguish where you are exactly in the sky or make sure you remember your last input and do not take your eyes off her for a second. If you would like an inexpensive quick foamy, the Radjet is the answer, brilliant!

This thing is tough

My Radjet is about 2 years old now, has had numerous hard hits for one reason or another, has been glued and reglued. Still have the original prop on it! All stock still (ARTR version with servos and esc). Motor screws came undone at some point and had to cut it open to fix. Don't stall it though, falls out of the sky and is hard to recover. Definitely recommended, just keep it moving. Many many screaming/cruising flights under its belt. Time to build a freshie.

Well, these are amazing! the most fun that can be had for ~ £36!! a few of us have them up the club, and fly formation with them! no need to worry about mid airs! As they easily glue back together, don't bother trying to customise/reinforce them, keep them light and keep it stock. If the stock setup is too slow for you then you're probably not flying low enough! I thoroughly recommend them for anyone who wants to have FUN!!!!!!

great exhilarating plane

I have flown this one for about six months. It goes very fast but is stable even in quite high winds. I bounced it off the deck fairly early on and bent the nose and so stiffened it with some balsa - used a 1000mah battery after this as it was lighter - but still flew well but only for about 4 minutes a time. I have crashed it a couple of times and it still flies again with a spot of cyano. A lot of fun for not much money.

Good Jet for beginners

It is a nice jet in stock setup, not really fast, but with the 2826 2200kV and 3S 1800mAh ist goes vertically and I have a lot of fun with it.
I never had any problems with the start by hand, 2/3 gas is enough. But don't let it become too slow in the air; when it comes into twisting it often crashed in the ground because the prop pushes and forces the plane to twist even faster - fortunatly it is very easy to glue the front, because the motor is save in the back :-)
When you want to get the radjet faster have a look at the many postings in some discussions groups.

Shoulder dislocation trying to hand launch this...

I've never wrote any review but after dislocating my shoulder trying to hand launch this I chose to warn everyone about it. I'm flying rc planes since my 20s and I never experienced any plane that hard to launch than this Radjet. The plane is nice, a bit fast and you can get whatever kit setup you want on it cutting some foam areas inside the fuselage.

3 things are bad about this plane:
1) When it flies it tends to swing left right like something is moving inside the canopy. Trust me. There is no room for anything to move inside if you have a 2200mah battery and a 60A esc.
2) Secondly, the speed is not enough. With my setup I got 155klm/h and 12 mins flight time when I can catch easily 200klm with one of my ME-163s.

3) And finally, the worst thing about it is the hand launch gaps under the plane. I didn't believe the reviews stating that it's very hard and I bought it. I crashed 2 times until finally learned how to take off. At my forth hand launch I had the accident I say above and I had to rush today at the hospital. When I got back I just threw the plane in the trash cause it's just cursed. Believe me... 2 months physiotherapy starting from today :-) .

With this plane you need either a launch pad with PVCs, a Mithril armor so that you don't cut your arm with the propeller or a baseball pitcher to hand launch the plane for you.

Great plane fly's brilliantly , but the foam is really really soft and the nose and wing ends are very venerable ........
