I bought 2 esc for thunder child 2 model boat I checked that the motor’s and esc could cope with 4 cells but the amps must of exceeded 60 amps and one of them set on fire

Pushing this esc with a 3500kv 1/8 short course motor. It handles the motor fine but punch the pedal to the bottom and i Can stall. Needed the 100amp but not in Stock EU

I've had 4 off these in the last 2 years. The 1st one turned on then smoked! Hk sent a replacement it's still going now really good. 3rd one about 2 months ago turned on drove round for 3 mins all ok. Tryed it later that day got steering and power to motor! Hk replaced it. Great had it 3 weeks went out at weekend drove for 2 mins lost all power to motor steering ok!! I've gave up never going to by this one again. Going to try different one.
