Beh, non sappiamo neanche, ma il Dipartimento Funzione ™ Skipper appena ricevuto più grande!

Proprio come il suo fratello più piccolo, la Skipper XL è in grado di operare da qualsiasi superficie compresa l'acqua, ghiaccio, neve, erba e di più, il che rende un modello incredibilmente versatile. Con il suo sistema di alimentazione brushless ala super basso carico e ad alte prestazioni la Skipper XL è uno spasso assoluto a volare!

Il sistema di potenza installata (versione PNF) fornisce una potenza più che sufficiente per l'acqua o erba decolli e fornisce prestazioni verticale illimitata. Le grandi superfici di controllo danno grande autorità di controllo e fare per un inviluppo di volo ampio.

Modellato schiuma ultra-resistente EPO, il modello è leggero e resistente. Le due metà dell'ala sono uniti attraverso la fusoliera con longheroni in fibra di carbonio doppia forniscono un'ottima rigidità. La fusoliera dello skipper ha un fondo piatto per una facile decolli da qualsiasi superficie e dispone di un passo idrodinamica per consentire una facile movimentazione dell'acqua.

Had the kit half assembled when I ran into a problem.
The rear spar tube molded into the left wing was located
1/2 inch more forward than the right wing. Front spar
tubes were okay on both wings.
Also the left wing spar tube was at or above the wing top
surface on the left wing.
This misalignment did not allow the left wing to mate to
the fuselage.
Chatted with a HobbyKing rep and was told to return the kit
to the US East coast warehouse, even though I had purchased
it from the West coast warehouse. They only do the evaluations
on the east coast. Shipping cost would be $62. Forget that.
I will try to cut the spar tube out of the wing and reposition
it in the proper location. It will definitely be detrimental
to the planes appearance.

Ausgerstet mit Corona DS939 MG , 3542er Brushless mit 1450KV, 3300er 4S Nanotech-Lipo und 8x8 APC-Luftschraube geht der Skipper XL mit Speed endlos Senkrecht. ( nicht nur Vollgas fliegen ! mit dem Setup - bei 60Amp. fr gute Khlung sorgen ! )
Jetzt warte ich auch Skipper XXL ) :-)

I maidened my Skipper XL today.

First take off try was a little rough, because despite having the lipo all the way back to the little wooden hook, it is still noseheavy. I do not know, how I will be able to get the CoG right with FPV gear installed.
After trimming the elevator up, the second try went well and once up in the air it flies really great. Ailerons are a little bit sensitive, as you would expect with a delta wing.

Stalls are no problem, the Skipper just falls like a parachute and it is always possible to power out of it.

Because of the stall and slow flying characteristics, the Skipper is easy to land.

I installed two aileron servos, because I had no double servoarm for the servos I had lying around. I just cut the servo slot big enough to fit two servos side by side.

My setup:

D-Power AL35-12 1270kv motor
40A ESC
8x4.5 Aeronaut light prop
Zippy compact 4s 4000mAh 25C lipo
4 Metalgear servos 10g
