I purchased 2 of these. One shipped with a bad AC cable, which HK credited me for. However both chargers failed completely within 6 months netting a couple different error messages like "Error: Battery High Voltage".

Fortunately Hobby Lobby replaced one unit and gave me remaining credit for the unit with the bad AC cable. Conversely, my IMAX B6AC charges have been rock solid, but are only 50 watts. So my larger 4s, 5A batteries take too long to charge.

I'm going to give these Eco Touch chargers one more chance. I have my replacement unit, which is working fine after only a couple weeks of usage. I really need the 90 watt capability to keep charge times down for my larger batteries.

Being a many year HK customer, this is My first review. I bought this as a dedicated home charger w/120v plug. I am certainly glad I did. My chargers of choice were and are the Triton brand and they are great. Well this charger is just as great and I do like the options and the availability to use as a power source. You do have to watch Your end voltage or it will tell You a half charged pack is fully charged (That tricked Me for the first few packs that My Tritons were charging but this one was not). And I wish it came with a USB port for program updates. But all in all A very good charger. The broken English manual is kind of a chuckle but hey !

I was somewhat hesitant to purchase this charger. After reading the reviews I figured if I got a good one I would be happy. When my charger Arrived I took it apart and looked at the circuitry. There was a Voltage Regulator that was not fastened to the heat-sink correctly. I unsoldered this and moved it to the other side of the board to match the other Regulator attached to the heat sink. I added Heat sink compound to the regulators and also between the main heat-sink and the chassis.

I also did not have a usb port on my unit so I soldered a micro Usb port onto the board but I still cannot get a computer to recognize this unit which was unfortunate.

The DC port was also the wrong size for my Supply so I switched that out as well.

The GUI is really easy to navigate and I have charged and Balanced LIPOs and CYCLED NIMH without any problems. It runs very cool and does not make loud obnoxious beeps like my other charges have done. Both AC and DC power supplies function. It just takes about 5 to 10 seconds to light up the display when it gets plugged in/Turned On.

I you are confident in doing a few PCB tweeks I think this Charger should work for you.

I was a bit hesitant about this product after I purchased it due to the negative reviews. However, after I purchased it did I find the negative reviews. So all I could do is wait for it to arrive and check it out for myself. Since this was my first time ever having to use this particular type of charger I was nervous-especially when I starting charging the battery and it was making that charging noise that I was NOT familiar with(just being the fan system kicking on...lol). Overall, I'm happy with this product except that even though it has a port for PC hookup, there is actually NO BOARD connector. With that, I gave it 4-stars.

I don't write reviews often but seeing all the bad reviews this item has I must give my appreciation.
This is the fourth charger I buy and I was desperate to fing a charger with real good balancing feature for LiPo at a decent price, this is the one!
There are plenty of options, the touch screen is really helpful to make it easy to operate as the graphic screen is really nice to give way more informations than the two 16 char lines on other chargers.
Overall the quality seems good though the bundle is quite poor.

Some options I liked :
-You can set the cut off voltage on 12V so that if you want to charge at a high current the charger won't tell you that your car battery is empty when it is not.
-You can use it as a power supply!
-You can balance your battery with a nice graphic telling you each cell voltage and even see each cell voltage while charging.

The product looks nice and works as described. The only feature I miss is that I'm not able to see the data when I cycle the batteries does not shows the result of each cycle or I do not find this feature.
Just for info. The charger Does not have the PC port. It's comes with the hole only no pin connections
