So after having it out a few times. Still fun to fly but not forgiving on landing. I have had a few not so perfect lands and it does not hold up. The first time I broke the nose, managed to glue it and tried flying again only to throw it into the ground rather then the air and destroyed the nose this time. So buy extra parts (personally id order 2 noses, 2 plastic nose covers, and a prop minimum). It is a blast to fly, so small and light can be a challenge in much of a wind. I would recommend it but buy extra parts. Also have a funny feeling it will be discontinued soon, not much has come back to stock, hope it remains.

Fairly new to the flying game and defiantly would not recommend as a starter. Goes together fast and easy. Took much advice from others before flying (a thanks goes to everyone writing a review, very helpful). You need lots of expo on the ailerons for sure (I'm around 90%) and the elevator was not as bad (maybe 40-60%) and was nice to fly on that side of things. CG I split the difference from one review at 230mm and the manual at 205mm and it did fly nice once trimmed. Make sure you have lots of room (or skilled) as it is pretty quick. Once you throw it I noticed it was slow leaving the hand but the next 50yrds it powers up and goes(3s 950mah nano battery). Very quick response on the ailerons (roll to your hearts content) but elevator seems a lot slower (expected tighter turns and loops). Glides along time with the speed it travels, and landings well give yourself space it comes in hot. Seemed to have enough power for vertical climbs. The only thing I didn't really like was having to put a ton of weight in the nose to set the CG (I have a huge stack of washers in there) seems the battery should be forward not aft. Fun plane, good value, fast, touchy, I get the feeling it will not handle a crash well.

Blast to fly - but one little crash...

When its balanced right, it's a blast to fly. BUT - it only takes 1 crash, even a minor nose in... and forget those great flights of yesterday. Every flight there after will get worse and more crashes and - maybe buy 2 next time?

My experience was not so enjoyable. First, one of the aileron servos did not work but it was easy enough to replace with a spare I had, but still. The provided bottle of glue was mostly solidified so I used hot glue on the vertical fins which worked ok. At the field the launch didn't go so well which resulted in a very quick landing on the nose, which resulted in the untimely removal of the section in front of the wing. There is just not that much material there, kind of a weak section in my opinion. I wish I could have had a longer flight to find out what the CG really needs to be. On the positive side the model went together together very quickly and the parts fit. :)

I absolutely love this plane. Delivered in fantastic condition and built well! It is slightly twitchy (definitely add some expo) from the box, but once calibrated flies brilliantly! Fantastic flight envelope, slope soaring is easy and can power around the park for at least 8 min. on the an 850mAH battery. I encourage this plane for those looking to advance to decent acrobatics wish fantastic gliding ability. This is definitely a must for those advancing/ mastering their first rc plane.

Fantastic little plane. heaps of power on a 3s 1300. Flies like its on rails. Probable not the choice for you first plane but if you've already mastered flying and looking for something cheap to keep in the back of your car this is perfect. great introduction to flying without rudder. It even handles a crash reasonably well.. kinda.

This is a great plane, flies well once set up, had to add dual rates and expo as was very twitchy without, also the CoG is not in the correct place as illustrated but the size is correct. Apart from that this is a lovely plane to fly, very manoeuvrable, corners like a house fly and is so much fun, can't wait to try a bit of slope soaring with her...

Severely disappointed with this plane. The first time I powered up the motor the motor and prop ripped out of the foam fuselage, cutting and scratching my arm. Hobbyking customer service refused to help, claiming that the damage, which was due to the motor not being glued properly, was "crash damage" despite the plane having never left the ground!!! Now I'm left with half a plane and can only source some spare parts as others are constantly out of stock! Very unhappy!!! And to top it all off, postage from NSW to Brisbane was over $50, turning a $50 plane into a $100 plane, which I cannot even use! Extremely upset with Hobbyking over this purchase, they downright refused to honour their warranty agreement, leaving me with a plane that I cannot even order parts for, unless I buy an ARF kit, which will be another $80!!! Just can't believe it.
