ISDT is renowned for its ergonomically designed, small, state-of-the-art battery chargers and accessories. The Q8 Smart charger/discharger continues this great pedigree of efficient and user-friendly chargers.
The ISDT Q8 packs a real punch, with the ability to charge 8 LiPo, LiIon, or LiFe cells, and 7 LiHv cells at up to a staggering 30A (1000W max). It features an up-to-date touch screen that accesses an innovative, and intuitive interface, which enables the user to reach all the advanced charging/discharging features with ease. This allows for fast, and easy programming and is perfect for novices and experts alike. The screen also gives an outstanding picture quality via its 2.4" IPS LCD screen, this also has a viewing angle of up to 178°.
Another quite unique feature of the Q8 is the "Destroy" battery function. We all have battery packs that have had their day and are no longer useable. This function will discharge the pack you are scrapping down to zero volts, regardless of its condition. To cater for the higher output of the charger, it is kept cool by using a carefully designed, and optimized internal structure. This is coupled with a high-speed, ball-bearing fan to promote an active cooling system that is 67% more efficient than previous generation Q chargers.
Outputs include an XT60 male for charging, XH-JST 8S balance port, and a standard 5V/2A USB port. There is also a micro USB port so that you can update the firmware via your PC. The power input of 10~34V (DC) is connected to the charger via a female XT60 connector.
Overall this is a compact, innovative, user-friendly charger/discharger unit that is easy and intuitive to use. It packs a mighty punch with a power output of 1000W, can charge up to 8S.
