Pin configuration is: Vs (5V) - RED / GND - GREEN / SIGNAL - YELLOW
This cannot be used for distance measurement. (unless you are doing "is it 50cm yet?" measurements.
I ordered 5 of these and it's a bit tricky to make them trigger at the same distance. What I did was mount it to a fix location with an obstacle at a fixed distance. Turn the potentiometer until the indicator light just barely turns off. No microcontroller is needed for this test, just power.
