SO. BRIGHT!!!!! haven't really found a use for it though, just chucked it into my cart cause its cheap and the shipping weight is really low. just dont look at it when u power it up

I was helped by the 1st review for this product where this gentleman tested the polarity and found that the light is protected against reversed current - Big Help -

But .... They are not terrribly bright for a 12v led, I have a $2.50 single AA flashlight that is twice as bright. He states that the current draw is .01 amps, this falls in line with what I see.

They do provide very nice even light, the description above says 360 field of light, I think they mean 180 deg field as there are no focus lenses.

Great product. I was a little confused at first as there is no indication of the correct polarity; however, I bit the bullet, set the PSU to 12V and connected it up. It works! Works great, very bright. Would make terrific landing lights. For a buck each they are great.

I also tried hooking them up in the opposite direction - they simply didn't turn on and no damage was done. They draw .01 of an amp too. Also note that they have the resistor in them already, so there is no need to hook a separate resistor up on the input.
