FEB 2016: Bought these for a new project and they DON'T WORK AT ALL. NO FLASH, NO LIGHT!!! Applies to RED, GREEN & BLUE versions.

-Have purchased an earlier version that were amazingly bright. After a long period of not being available they were back in stock, bought a new set & tested as soon as they arrived. To my disappointment none of them worked. Tried several different batteries & servo testers without success. Then I got one of the old ones out and it still worked perfectly.

Inspection of the PCB components showed a different IC and different passive components placed on a PCB with the same layout positions as the original version. An oscilloscope also showed the pulses that drive the LED were nowhere sufficient (as compared to the previous version) to drive the LED.

Very unfortunate! Started RMA process because Hobbyking needs to test the product before they ship. All of these came with a very spiffy looking holographic sticker with "QC5" printed it.??? Shows there is not integrity or ethical consideration for products coming out of hobbyking CHeap suppliers.

Great for reminding to diconnect battery and look good on aircraft in low light, will order some more. Great price.

Otimos estes leds, perfeitos para utilizar como luzes de navegacao, melhor se pudessem ser ativados por um canal do radio, mas mesmo assim dao um otimo efeito ao aero. Recomendo.
