This item is really great value for the price. It requires a great deal of building skill so not for the beginner or PNP flyers. It also needs extra carbon additions to the wing and clamshell where it joins the wing - I also added carbon to the tail plane. I used the stock fan housing and original fan but balanced it carefully before assembly. The battery was a 6s 5000MAh Turnigy and the motor a B36 56 1600Kv. The fan by the way is a copy of the Wemotec Midi 90mm which fits perfectly if you wish to replace. Gave the whole plane 2 coats of Eze Kote which firms up the foam.
Now the flight - we have a grass runway and was a little worried about the takeoff - need not have worried as it was off in about 30yds and boy what a stable aircraft !! I had NO trimming to do it just lifted off straight and did a nice level climb. It is not a rocket but is quite fast, however it can slow down to a really slow speed with no stalling. Really pleased with it and with 4 flights so far nothing has fallen off !! I used electric retracts with the original oleo legs but will replace them with stronger ones.
VERY NICE plane and will buy another when back in stock.

Awesome plane that arrived well packed. I strengthened the main wing by adding both wood and carbon spars then filled all panel lines with light weight filler and glassed the entire model with 1/2 oz cloth. After sanding the dried glass I applied several light lacquer
undercoats and after sanding most of this off sprayed entire model with automotive lacquer top coats and then added decals followed by clearcoat. The model flys like on rails and the addition of tunigy servoless retracts made take off and landing on grass a breeze.
I am so pleased with this models flight that I am now going to replace the EDF with a high quality 90mm EDF for more realistic sound.will add pics in files.

Por fin hoy he recibido el mio, el paquete es a prueba de transportistas, en realidad es una caja de un cartn muy grueso, todo muy bien empaquetado, y las piezas todas en perfecto estado, el tren de aterrizaje no es desde luego el mejor del mundo, habr que cambiarlo, el tema del cableado es un poco lioso para meterlo en los huecos, estoy impaciente por empezar a ensamblarlo, en fin a primera vista un modelo muy bonito y grande.

big .noisy , impressive !
i add the rc lander 1900kv bleu line edf 6s 4000 zippy and 110 amp cyclone esc
also , modifications are the main wing now have carbon spars because there is a small chance of breaking in flight , the new kit has some re inforcements but it is a big heavy foamy :) better shure than a totally destroyd plane in the tail i also aad carbon spars lipo cg is not on the spot of manual
but 15 cm in front of that !! cg 9 cm measure right beside the air intake edf.

landing gear juste sucks bad ! quality is poor en need replacement if you want to be shure that it will take of and land properly !

overall , great flyer easy handeling great sound , allso with the stock edf worth the bild
take me arround 1 full day with all the modifications

Cant fault this bird. An advanced model builder project for sure but once done worth every man-hour that goes into it. Flies on rails and 90mm CoG means mount the battery ON the plywood tray hard up against wing mount gusset NOT between wing L.E as advised in instruction book. Should 'seesaw' about the point so dont be tempted to add ballast to the snout as it will be too nose heavy. Flying a 6S A-Spec Nano-Tech trimmed two or three clicks of back stick and two across for port wing down and all was sweet. Glides in with no power, minor balloon on flare but coming in hot @ 3.2Kg AUW its like a bowling ball and such a nice big plane handles distance & mild winds with ease. I mean $99.00 USD how the hell can ya go wrong !?

Best flying plane you could ask for. Tricky build, I used servoless retract and they worked great. Unfortunately my fourth flight the wings folded. Would definitly buy again only i would beaf the wings up a little more.

Il modello tutto da costruire, non facile far passare i fili per i servocomandi della coda. io ho messo anche il servo per la deriva ma per fare un buon lavoro bisogna sudare.

unica pecca sono i carrelli retrattili, i carrelli della Fly Fly sono particolari non facile adattare un carrello anteriore bisogna fare un amodifica per mettere un normale carrello anteriore retrattile. A breve il collaudo con i carrelli di serie che a mio avviso sono leggerini per il peso del modello.
Motore kv1660 regolatore ESC 125A batteria turnigy 4000 3c circa 3.5kg.
