I just got my order after waiting so long, pulled out the MK450 servo to fit to my 450 size chopper. tested it first on a AR500 with 4.8v and found 1 of 3 servos I need FAILED. The other two work , but I could never trust them. This in a $20 servo, it will cost me more than the effort is worth to return it. Bottom line is I got ripped off, stolen from, conned by somebody.... I paid for an advertised product and didn't get it. This makes me angry and if it makes you angry then I would think twice before buying this item.

berhaupt keine Frage - das Servo gehrt zu dem Besten, was Hobbyking zu bieten hat. Ich habe es als Ersatz zu den D60 (HT) gesucht, da mir die D60 zu "analog" stellen (im harten Hotliner Einsatz merkt man eben im Schnellflug doch, dass die Ruderreaktion nicht mehr so knackig ist). Das DS450 ist genauso gro (dnn) und passt selbst in die dnnste Hotlinerflche. Die Przision ist enorm, das "Deadband" liegt bei unter 5us. Das Getriebe weist kein Spiel auf. Ob die 3.1kg wirklich erreicht werden, kann ich nicht sagen, ich wei nur, dass die Kraft enorm ist.

Recommended for Blade 400 cyclic a perfect fit (with a bit of effort). Stripped about 8 stock servos before I installed these, no probems since. I am using a DS 480 on the tail with a HK401 gyro and it all works fine. Improved response all around.

Needed 6, Bought 7 and good thing too. Advise test cycling servos *slowly under load* before mounting. Pressure on potentiometer & PCB caused crashworthy jittering in two servos. Had to dismantle and clean PCB with copious amounts of contact cleaner. Even then saved only one. Otherwise very decent servos. Using on a 2m composite glider.

Superlative servos, strong, durable, ultraprecise and slop free. The real weight is 9,8g including the heavy long cable.

I'm using them in a competition full carbon dlg with low wing, the size is more compact than the Hyperion so they are easy to fit in little fuselages as airleons servos. They are also 10mm thick so they are also able to fit into the slim wings.

Have just installed these servos on my KDS450, and I am impressed.

At a first uncalibrated test I tried stalling the servo with my finger without succes, where the original KDS servos are easy to stall. Really powerful monsters!
