Facile da assemblare, c'è poco posto per la batteria servivano 5/10mm in più dato che i rinvii in pratica sfiorano la batteria. Rifiniture cinesi non adatto a persone manieche della precisione. Il modello vola benissimo. Il cavo tre pin del regolatore che va alla ricevente è corto mancano 5/6cm di filo. Sarebbe stato bello che fosse compreso un interruttore elettronico per comandare le luci dalla radio anche spendendo qualche euro in più. Tutto sommato lo consiglio.Plane was easy to assemble, glue needed for tail only. As only drawback, space for receiver and battery could be a bit bigger. Now there is no proper place for receiver, it needs to be pushed back into the frame with all servo and LED wiring. Separate hatch under the frame would be nice adition. Plane looks nice and flies very stable and well. It also glides very well due to big wings and aerodynamic frame.Due to previous crash due to a badly elevator glued servo (see my previous review), I bought a second one, on which plugs for elevator and rudder lights and wires coming fm fuselage are all femal which make connection impossible. For the first crash, as the model was in so many pièces (but all servos except elevator one was in place into the small remainig part of fuselage I could not take any photos which will prove my analysis. Custumers u must be advised dealing w/HK means u accept by 15 pcnt of dirt
FrogeaterWell, what should I say? I never before had such a mess in the battery compartment of any other model plane but the Walrus is such a fun to fly! I had to rework the wing mount which did not fit AT ALL and also had to improve the tail in order to allow smooth operation of the elevator pushrod. I found the CG to be in fact only 72 mm from the leading edge or this bird is really nose-heavy.
But all this is quickly forgotten once you have it airborne. It behaves very well in the air, is rather docile although it will spin if you stall it really bad. It performs all aerobatics imaginable for such a plane (it will not go vertical, though) and even performs knife´s edge. The very bright LED lights are a joy to watch in flights close to dusk or dawn. Very well done, Hobbyking!This plane was a blast. The plane was packed well, with each part in its own plastic protective bag. It took about an hour to assembly all the tiny control arm screws, all the wire wrangling, and the Rx/Tx setup, just what I expect from a PNP model.
The maiden was in the early morning hours before sunrise and it performed brilliantly with manuals throw recommendations. A fog rolled in and it continued to stay dark as the sun rose, the LEDs really made it a joy to fly in those dimly lit conditions that otherwise you would only see a silhouette of your plane. The plane has a great flight envelope of high speed dives and slow speed with flaps. Be careful on landings as the Walrus wants to glide and glide and needs plenty of room if you are not using flaps. The plastic belly protection works great and easily slides on grass. The only negative I found (and it is very minor) is landing on recently cut grass that is damp makes the grass clippings get stuck inside the fuse from the vent holes on the bottom. It fits inside my compact car with out removing the wings with just a little creative twisting through the door. Thumbs up on this one HK!Great flyer with plenty of power! The LED's look awesome, even in overcast daylight conditions very good to see. Very bright. Only minor point on assembly was that the forward bolt to secure the wing was too short because the forward recessed thread in the fuselage is a bit lower that the aft one. This is trivial once you got the Night Walrus up in the air with a BIG smile on your face! Bought an light switch in order to switch the lights on and off via spare channel.Wow este glider es exelente ya tiene las luces integradas y solo pones las alas, elevador y rudder y a volar ! tiene exelente potencia y lo mejor con una bateria 11.1 2200 muy bueno lo recomiendo!

This is unacceptableI am very happy that I had ordered this night flyer. Very easy to fly. In the day I get about 10-12 minutes with a 2600mah 30c pack. And at night I'll get about 8-9 minutes the plane glides very well and with some speed which this plane has it is very acrobatic. The only done side to this is when flying at night the lights on the rudder are yellow and you can't see them that well when you are about 150-200 ft. up and doing acrobatics it is hard to tell when you are inverted or not. Other than that this is a must have for any night flyer.I think hobbyking really had an opportunity to hit a home run with with this and they slightly missed. The build was relatively easy. The only issue I had was getting the two screws that mount the main wing in. As soon as I took off I noticed that hobbyking had done nothing to improve a major flaw in the original walrus. The horizontal stabilizer itself is at an upward angle meaning that for level flight you have to have a lot of down trim. The wings also flex a little too much for my liking. Other than that I really love the way this thing flies. The flaps really add some fun to this plane. I have them around 30 percent and they make it float forever. I keep everything else at 100 percent all the time. It also handles inverted very well and the lights are much brighter and impressive than I predicted. My only other complaint about this plane was that there were absolutely no extra screws control horns or any other parts in the box. I have never gotten a plane without any extra parts before. Overall I am happy with this plane but I am very annoyed with the upward angle of the horizontal stabilizer.
