Well i got mine today from the usa warehouse 2 days early to my surprise..And read the other reviews so i changed my esc to a 100 -120 amp with a 5.5 amp bec ... The finish of the plane is nice and this is my first large plane so a asked a friend with more experience to help and boy am i glad he is helpful, because the instructions are typical hk...No instructions for wiring of all the different channels and what they go to on the rx... No instructions for deals ( no big deal) The wing spars are steel but the channels for them in the wings were not straight and they could be longer so i will get one 34" and one 24" ..Longer one for the leading edge of wing ( front ) and the other for the flap side of the wing.... These wings are glue on oNly so if u have a car be sure to know that... it doesnt fit in mine and will have to trailer it or figure out another way to secure wings on to fuselage ( maybe velcro on both sides of the wings but not sure yet what i will do) Maybe just easyer and safer just to trailer it to and from the field...I do like the ventalation for the esc ...if u put it under the batt tray with longer wires to the motor... I wish they had a better way for the wings to attach... But i liked the price..So i hope she flys nice after the completed build... I will be putting on the servo horns tommarrow as well as the elevator, prop, canopy, and decals...

nice plane.i bot a monster mustang 2 years ago.same crappy retracts.ok for take off but u should belly land and save retracts.just ordered the 110.00 one.luv the plane.i am pig for punishment.mtn.

Not a review, but those of you looking for replacement props it sounds to me that FMS props would fit. Hexagonal hole on back of blade.

Absolute rubbish nothing fitts very cheap paint. The whole model is just rubbish I'll never buy from hobbyking, what a waste of money. There is dry glue all over the model the prop has two section to secure the blades, the securing screws are stuffed they don't secure the blades, they blades move freely.the undercarriage again aren't secure just cheap rubbish don't buy this model.

got mine today.what a ripper 3hrs and she was ready to go.strong landing gear changed esc to a 55A tunigy.exelent scale flyer.

Cara. acabei de receber meu Monster P-51D Mustang. Maravilhoso....estou louco pra botar pra voar. Fiquei de cara com o trem de pouso retratil, ele com amortecedor....d .

il motore non rende bisogna volare con il gas sempre intorno 80pcnt e il consumo della bateria come si puo dederre diventa eccesivo consiglio di volare con almeno una 3800 4s ciao a tutti

Huge, nice looking plane. But not perfect.



1) Construction



I lost retract covers during first flight. Rear wheel cornering system is too weak - it is not really easy to go in straight direction. Lot of dents, EPO foam is too fragile.



2) Flight



It flies very well. But not like a warbird. Too slow, too smooth - like a trainer. Good for beginners, but I expected more radical plane.



Advices: Replace prop and add an external UBEC for sure.

Not really happy with this model, when i recieved it there was slight damage on the elevators and on the wing edge's, the motor had a bent sharft and had to be sent back, and also the decals had air bubbles through out, paint job was only average but alas its a Mustang. Still a good buy!

I changed over the ESC to a larger 60A ESC for my own safty and installed a 5S 3000mAh there was lot more power on the plane but the foam wings didnt like that extra weight during flight you can actually see the wings bend abit so i brought her down before I broke the wing. I will be trying out as 2,200 mAH 5S next to see if the less weight will make it fly better.
