The Piper J-3 is a beautiful "parasol" kit. This lasecut is very complete, the wood is adequate quality. All accesories have been added, very complete box. You can change for more scale experience landing gear and the wheels, daschboard. This kit is for experienced modeler because of the limited manual, which is far below standard. For example the hinges of the door is shown on the inside, but then the door cannot open. The real plane has totaly different door. It does not matter. :)
For more scale it would by good to correct the wings tips. (for more piper look) The airplane fly with RAY G2 3548 /900 KV outrunner with RAY 70A ESC with 12/6 APC prop, and Zippy 3S 3700 mAh batt or Zippy 4S 3700mAh. There is lots of power.

This is my first attempt at a balsa plane. I’m done with the fuselage and have started the first wing. The directions are limited to sequential photos and not all are clear or show accurate relation of parts. So far there have only been a few places where parts weren’t shown or timing of installation was unclear. So far nothing I won’t be able to get away with when it’s finished!

The Piper J-3 is a beautiful model high-decker. The set is very complete, the wood is well and accurately cut by the laser. All accesiores have been added, very complete box. I have bought shoes for the rudders and a set of other wheels that do more justice to the model.
The builder must have experience with DIY because of the limited manual, which is far below standard. The hinge of the door is shown on the inside, but then the door cannot swing out. The real model also has a swing door!
You must also have (buy) all the electronics yourself and make a plan to incorporate this. You can see some examples on YouTube, take a good look at them. I bought a Turnigy G46 670 kv outrunner and an 80A controller for this.
I build on it with a lot of pleasure and I look forward to flying with it.

découpe laser ultra précise, bois trés bien choisi, cad a pas du balsa qui se tord du regard pour chercher le poids minimum, pas du ois de charpentier non plus mais un mix plutot bien choisi pour avoir une structure solide. un plan super succin pour le fuselage. des accessoires complets, mais pour le coup lourds 'haubans en alu, jambe de trains), en résumé très bien et un avion qui présente un joli volume au final. pas encore entoilé
