La L-4 è stata la versione militare del J-3 Cub, Piper ha detto che la conversione di una specifica militare non era più difficile di quanto alcuni vernice verde! Utilizzato per la direzione fuoco di artiglieria, la linea di collegamento anteriore, l'istruzione pilota di aliante e come un aereo corriere, sarebbe giusto dire che la L-4 è stato un successo totale in forma militare, la L-4 ha anche la particolarità di partecipare alla ultima dogfight di WW2 (ETO) quando è stato coinvolto in una rissa pistola con un Fiesler Storch!

Questo ARF superbamente costruito adatta un motore a gas 20cc e, naturalmente, sarebbe anche accettare intorno a 1,20 bagliore, sarebbe anche una conversione elettrica facile, che richiede un minimo di un treno di potenza 6S. Lo schema dei colori scala dotato di strisce d'invasione, ideali per l'orientamento, anche ci sono molti dettagli di scala che renderanno questo un modello di cui essere orgogliosi, che comprendono a fondo scala, lavorando sotto-carrozza, sartiame scala e puntoni, VAC finestre formate e così via . Per praticità, una porta è incernierato e fissato con magneti, e l'ala rimovibile 2pc rende il trasporto una sincronizzazione.

le recouvrement de cet avion est très fragile sinon en vol aucun pb stable pour du vol tranquille ....attention de ne pas "tirer" trop tot au décollage tendance au décrochage vu l'envergure.
je l'ai motorisé avec un 4 temps de 20 cc avec une hélice de 16x8 ce qui est bien suffisant
j'ai réentoilé cet avion avec de l'oracover après avoir ôter le recouvrement d'origine sans pb

kit reçu en 4 jours site PAYS BAS bien emballé pas de casse..
plusieurs vols effectués .avec ASP 4 temps 20 cc hélice 16x8 vol réaliste
juste un bémol concernant l'entoilage qui est d'une fragilité incroyable
je l'ai réentoilé au 4 eme vols ..
bon rapport qualité prix .... à savoir cellule fragile entre la cloison moteur et l'habitacle

Awful Quality, Awful-- non practical customer service

I have purchased 3 of these kits, so have a reasonable comparison. I have also been in this hobby for 50 years. The most recent kit was AWFUL. Could not have built without a sophisticated shop, experience and parts from other prior kits. Wing root (spar) too tight and would not slide into wing slots. Landing gear shocks would NOT fit into sleeve. Gear was not soldered accurately---landing gear not useable. Guide tubes to control surfaces (elevator) collapsed. Clear coat scratches off easily. NO instruction manual was included. Various (many) hardware pieces missing----and much more. Customer service wanted pictures and documentation with an RMA for each problem ....(how do you show obstructed cable tubes buried in tail, or wing tube .006 too small ?) In short crappy quality and ridiculous customer service. I suggest buying from Horizon Hobby, Tower Hobbies or others----real customer service. Buyer beware--NEVER buy anything from Hobby King

Received mine Oct13/2016 Perfect packing job! Double boxed with tons of air pillows.
The box was crushed at one end but the packaging saved the plane. The finish is great. My dad loves it (birthday present to him) But we both agreed that the landing gear metal looks great...but is VERY heavy and perhaps will be changed for something much lighter(Im talking about almost 1 kilo!) Going to be putting a 26cc in this one.

die L4 ist ein gelungenes Modell, wenn man ein paar gravierende Dinge ändert. Zum einen passt die Befestigung des Fahrwerks am Rumpf nicht. Hier muss man mit einer Flex und einem Schweißgerät arbeiten. Für die Federung des Fahrwerks hat sich der Beilegende Gummi nicht bewährt. Hier sollte man 6 mm breite Streifen von einem alten Fahrradschlauch verwenden.
Des weiteren ist die Folie im Bereich Cockpit nicht richtig fest hier muss man sorgfältig nach bügeln. Am besten man nutzt zusätzlich Oracover https://www.oracover.de/index.php/katalog/artikelinfo/67-1-show-oracover_air_kleber_100_ml.html
Die Folie selbst ist in Ordnung.
Ein weiteres Problem ist die Befestigung der Cockpittüren. Ich habe Panzertape genommen, aber richtig glücklich bin ich damit auch noch nicht.

My first comment has to be the poor quality of the landing gear, the mounting on the plane are 112.5 mm apart and the left hand mounting on the landing gear is 102 mm, the right hand is 100 mm. I've had to cut off the brackets and weld in the correct position. The inserts for the wing struts were missing from the hardware. The covering seems to tear with the slightest amount of pressure. There are no instructions included with the plane, although they are in the files tab, but the plane has been upgraded since the files were put up. the upgrades are to rectify complaints about build and quality control issues but they still seem to have further improvements to make. A nice looking plane and stable flyer let down by QC issues

I bought two kits Piper L4 good qualiit except stabilizer that will be repeated this winter, all very correct, careful guy fixing it are functional, ours are equipped with an electric motor.
here's our setup :
NTM 4258 500KV motor 1300W
Turnigy ultralight wood propeller 15x8 batteries lipo 6s 5000mah 40C
zippy flghtmax
weight 5kg flight orde .
CG imperative still 106mm without problem a little bit back 1cm .
Flight time 20 min lot of power. HK thank you a beautiful airplane that flies beautifully. EXPO differential

To be honest - this plane is a complete fail! Mine needs a complete rebuild and new covering, there are so much issues that they would fill some sides to write them all down. The worst issues are a wrong designed fuselage former at the rear causing the elevator pushrods to move very hard. The door has a really bad fit, you could throw a newspaper between fuselage and upper door. The covering is flimsy and very sensitive. The wooden plate for mounting the servos is bad quality, it`s impossible to screw down a servo there without some reinforcements. I need new covering film, Solartex, and a new set of decals. Purchsing Solartex and making new decals will raise the price of this plane to nearly 400 bucks. I wanted to fly it this year, but now i put it away as a winter project. If i only had choosen the 1400mm EPO version... but i wanted the big one, now i have the big work with it.
