After purchasing this obsolete motor from another source that said the had one left and I could get it (I wanted two). The incorrect motor arrived for twice the cost of the two I did buy from Hobby King. Not sure if it’s obsolete or not but Hobby King came through for me and so far the motor is running fine. And I did get a second for spare. Thank you.

The silent killer...this motor is installed on my T-750 Flash/Stinger from Banggood
I run it on 4cell 2200 80to100 c rated....80amp ESC
APC 6x6 prop
On full pack...
693.2 watts
48.4 amps
So..... comfortable in the 100 too 110mph range... vertical... probably same speed.
Be advised max amp by mfg 62 amps ...keep motor cool...play with props..have fun

Excellent outrunner for small foamie planes

The previous motor for my HK Glue-n-Go Su-27 burned up when I used a 4S Lipo, but this PropDrive 1800KV with an 8X6 will go full throttle the whole flight and never gets hot! I'll be buying more of this line of outrunner.

I purchased this motor for a speed plane. I was looking for a motor with high wattage and this one has 850. The 1700kv allows me to use 7x9 props with a 4s battery. That is pushing the wattage a little past the 850 but the motor seems to be OK doing that. My plane is flying around 120mph with this set up and the motor seems to be holding up to short flat out runs. I see that this motor is no longer in stock in the US. I hope they get some more because others would like to purchase this motor.
