    PROPDRIVE V2 motors are designed to perform right out of the box with tight windings, smooth bearings, correctly rated magnets, precision-cut stator, and balanced rotors. The motors are built in-house allowing us to control every aspect of production. We control the entire production line from material sourcing to machining, balancing, and final assembly. PROPDRIVE motors can be trusted to provide years of reliable service at a price every modeler can afford.


    This version of the 4258 500KV motor has a reversed shaft which makes it particularly suitable for fitting the collet style prop adaptor and a spinner straight out of the box, this makes it a perfect match for the 1400mm Kingcraft Super Stearman on a 6S battery. Also included with the motor is the cross shape mounting bracket which enables it to be mounted directly to the firewall.


    All the performance figures below are the result of realistic testing on our own motor dynos.

    Snapped the shaft

    Snapped the shaft on first takeoff, no spare available as they discontinued it 2 weeks after I bought it, now it’s in the bin, waste of money. When you buy a motor buy some spare shafts at the same time,

    I run this Motor on 6s with a 14X8 Lightwood prop. It delivers 49-50Amps/1200W on full throttle at the bench test. Motor runs very smooth and quietly. The bearings are completely OK! I am looking forward to the maiden flight in one the next days.
