Highly recommended! You must use parts of the Quanum 680UC kit with this gear. Good strength to weight ratio, good folding design. Just beware of that flappy cable!

It was so wonderful ... it looks cool and people are just stunning ...
BUT! This Device can kill your Copter easily.
My Copter happely just crashed 1m above ground so the damage was not that high.

there are two small-motors, you can see them attached outside of the gearbox's.
if you unscrew everything like i have had to do.. you will notice that the motor-wires servo-wires are unfixed ... and more horribly these 5 wires run beside the metal-gears .. so what happend?

right .. the wires locked the gearbox ... its a two-switch-board inside the gearbox .. if the "mover-rod" presses one switch down .. the motor stops an switches the direction ..... if the mover getting stuck between these two switches the motor will consume extrem much current.

i have 6 esc connected... 6 * 0.5a => 3a
the copter just felt down like a stone after i started retracting the gear.
i guess the current left was to low for the apm.....

however ... i suggest testing the gearset everytime you wanna use it.

Super pas chers, mais de mauvaise qualit... il manquait 4 vis l'ouverture du colis, j'en ai retrouv que 2. les microswitchs sont super merdique... 1 moteur n'a pas march au premier vol... au final, je ne vais pas prendre le risque de crasher pour des pieds de mauvaise qualit... j'ai donc remis des pieds rigide.

Good strength to weight ratio (25 min flight times with 5000 6S and DJI E600)
Good folding design/concept (although not original)

- The hardware is trash. Screws stripped and rusted almost instantly
- The YouTube Video promised 'full parts support' to which there has been nothing. Comments and emails to HK go unanswered. Main reason for low overall rating.

Easy to install and very strong! You must use parts of the Quanum 680UC kit with this gear! There are other retractable gears from Hobbyking which are RTR!
