After reading some more about this redsail plotter i brought it i own it now for a week and after making decals, paint mask, and even cutting out paper its all working great! At this moment i cant find any downside to tell about this plotter it's working really good. After connecting it to my pc with the usb cable windows installed the driver for it and it was good to go. There is a CD included with some software on it, i use photoshop, inkscape and easy cut studio for it and its working great

Great machine, seems very solid. Only problem I had on set-up was the carriage unit was not installed correctly in its running tracks so made some pretty scary noises when I first turned on the machine. Luckily this did not do any damage to the machine. Easily fixed when you remove the top cover plate and locate the unit properly. You will need to buy software separately to run this as the disc provided does not provide all files necessary to install the cutting software. The Redsail driver file supplied is fine and installed easily on my PC. I purchased Easy-Cut Studio on-line for $65.00 US. and it runs perfectly on Windows 10. The unit cuts paper and film with ease, tried on cardboard but with little success even on 0.5mm card. Very good for scoring polystyrene sheet up to 0.5mm thick. The plotting function is also very good an I can now print out my wing plans for scratchbuilding. Great value for money.
