Finally got the box today. The very first thing i looked for are the decals. And it's not there. Very frustrated.
Anyhow, quality is good enough. Started building and notice that some parts are missing. Missing a control rod, I don't have the servo plate for rudder (pull-pull system). I still have to see how this goes.

Very good plane but I had problems in assembly because the rod is wider than hole in the clevis. I have Zippy Compact 3300 mAh 4s and Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 4250-500kv Brushless Outrunner Motor and I haven't got problems with CG. Also it is bad that there are no spinner included.

modello molto buono per il prezzo che costa attenzione rinforzare bene tutto il castello motore .come motorizzazione utilizzato un 4250 di derivazione sbach 1400 epo, elica 13x8 , alimentazione 4s 3700 35c ,servi corona. modello dal volo veloce vivamente consigliato per gli amanti del genere

The horizontal stab and the firewall must be reinforced.
After about 8 flights, I noticed that the horizontal stab was wiggling quite a bit and seems to have some internal structural failure.
I recommend pulling off the skin and reinforcing prior to flight.

Great covering job and fiberglass cowl. Now on to business...
Mismatched hardware; cowl barely squeezed over the front bulkhead making it very difficult to get it to cover the canopy and prevent it from blowing off (seen this on other HK planes). Canopy did not fit properly on the magnets (warped or the fuse was twisted) so a canopy latch is a must. The canopy WILL fly off, especially when the firewall flexes so bad and pulls away from the canopy notches releasing it in mid flight.
On the plane I received it was absolutely necessary to reinforce the firewall/motor mount with gussets as well as bracing under the battery tray. The flex in the firewall allowed the motor to move drastically under throttle and cause porpoising. I had to add so much lead to the nose to get it balanced I didn't really like how it flew. The other review said 2 3000mah packs and it would still do 3D? Sounds like a pretty heavy setup for 3D to me.

This is a really well made plane for the money and you definitely get what you pay for. Easy to build although mine didn't come with any instructions the only problem I had was finding the c of g (it's about 2mm behind the main spar). I'm really not happy with the way this flys and you can tell it was cheap(I would nt buy this again and save my money and go else where)

Bought this plane but couldn't decide what motor/prop combo to use, tried a 500kv motor with a 16inch prop, 600 watts, not enough for a climb out, plus prop looked to big, tried a 900 kv motor with a 11 inch prop = 900 watts, plenty of power but motor sounded to busy, so ended up with a 800 kv motor with just over 800watt. Takes off very nice, flies even better, knife edges nice, rolls, very predictable, lands nicely too. Flew it today in 15mph wind no problem but plane didn't want to land, just floats on by.....eventually did land it but dropped it onto the UC from a couple of feet and it ripped the UC and the ply mount it was fixed to. This is the 3rd balsa plane Ive bought from HK where the slightest heavy landing rips off the UC in the same way, poor design and not enough glue (ply mount) problem is the spats dig holes in both wings on the underside. Repaired it now, just waiting for a calm day to fly it. Oh fitted bigger wheels to it as well, makes grass landings better.
